I have a habit of giving these to my friends and family when they have anewborn. I think it would have been neat to have a set from my own birth yearand so I started doing this years ago. Everyone else seems to give clothes, whichare of course, helpful. But this seems to be well received and appreciated,more so by Dads in my experience. (I'm a dad).For my special relatives (brother's child and my own child) I bought them the one ouncegold coin for that year. That is a little pricey, but I think it will be appreciated.These proof sets certainly sparkle and I think they are not too expensive.
