Music to your ears...
I have used many different in ears over the years, but all have had minor niggles or failings of some kind, and then I found these...The difference is truly amazing. The fit is perfect, the comfort stays even after many hours of use in a day, and the sound just seems to get better over time.I can't describe myself as a true audiophile...I can't regale you with a review based on technical terms...I can give an honest opinion of how these sound:Music of all kinds seems truly heavenly though these!Whether listening to opera, classical, pop, rock, or even acapella tracks, these present it to you as the artist intended.Since getting these I have found new appreciation of things that I had already loved for years; discovering parts of the tracks that I had been missing due to inferior quality hardware.Hearing tones and notes that I never knew were there, and hearing vocal changes that I had always missed, that add emphasis to the song.If you are looking for a good quality sound, with these, you just can't go wrong!Don't be afraid of the price, once you hear the difference, you will know that every penny was money well spent.

Excellent sound quality for the price with superb comfort
One problem with non-custom made IEMs is that the fit and comfort is amost always a compromise that makes listening for long periods a challenge. Not so with the Fiios which are the best fitting and most comfortable IEMs I've every worn with listening sessions of many hours no problem at all. They are also very attractive to look at. As far as the sound goes I use them with Fiio's upgraded balanced cable and a Fiio M9 player and the combination is superb. They FA7's are highly detailed with excellent bass, a neutral mid-range and with a top end that is very informative but manages to stay the right side of strident. They also handle large scale works such as Beethoven's 9th and The Rites of Spring with a notable absence of compression and with a highly detailed and wide soundstage. Timbre and tone is excellent for vocals and is unusually so for drums and bass instruments. You'll be amazed by the drive and detail they bring to the bottom end of everything from Kind of Blue to Paranoid. The FA7s are a great all round performer with a sound and build quality that makes them exceptional value for money.

Enormous value for money.
My Westones 40's broke after three years daily use.... I went back to a £50 pair of Klipsch. after 8 weeks daily use. Bought these FIIO quad drivers. Happy again. I can use my FIIO montblanc amplifier. The music is burning in nicely and the FIIO's are so comfortable. Using the foam ear buds included and the world goes away. Even when walking alongside busy traffic. Bass trebles and all that audiophile stuff just sounds great to me. All I know is they are as good as the westones and in another dimension and universe from £100 offerings. Its a lot to pay for ear buds but if you use them daily for three hours plus like me there is no alternative. So pleased I got them.

Buy!
Brilliant headphones managed to get them on ebay for £198 on ebay so returned them. Much better at this price level compared £250. The sound amp for me personally not much difference for the extra £54.00 so return the amp as well. But you should buy these over any other headphones. Bluetooth technology is not ready for wireless headphones.Must buy!

smooth, detailed, q
wanted earphones that matched the smooth warm qualities of my focal elear headphones. these have the same listen for hours treble with no harshness on any music genre. the bass is present, fast and clear. these don't extend as low as the elear but have the same quality and impact. depending on tip the midbass can seem like it overlaps into the mids a little bit, on some music. its usually modern compressed sound sources that have this issue. left to right balance is lovely and there is a wonderful clarity through the mids and treble.the fit is really nice and is rock solid once in your ears. the cable is quite heavy and sticky but the hooks and fit mean you never notice it. cable is a bit short to reach a pocket in some jeans. I imagine most people buying iem in this price bracket will probably want a balanced cable upgrade so this is a non issue for most.overall really nice implementation of a multiple BA iem.

Very easy to listen to.
I use Stax L700 stats at home and Janszen electrostatic speakers and appreciate fast transparency and balance. These iems are not neutral but they are really great for a commute where you have background noise. The elevated bass is a boon then, I believe. Non-fatiguing presentation and very enjoyable. Also, they are beautiful and very well made with an excellent set of accessories. I would love the Shure KSE1200s, but for commuting these Fiio iems hit the sweet spot!

Great sound quality; the armatures are easily getting loose though and sides easy to fall off
Once the sides start falling off it's very easy to lose it.
