Esther Williams Swimwear Solid Vintage Sheath Swimsuit

This is my third Esther Williams bathing suit and I honestly cannot see myself buying another style or brand ever again. It is flattering on any body type and comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns but I am loyal to the classic black.These suits do run about two sizes smaller than normal though so be aware of this when buying. I am typically between 8-10 so I bought a 14 and it fits great with some room to spare. If you want it to be more fitting, then one size up should be fine but I wanted a little more comfort since I plan on wearing it throughout pregnancy.I've purchased a size 10 and 12 before and while the 10 did fit, it was very tight on the thighs and took some jumping to get on. I have also noticed that the velvet suits seem to fit even more snug as well. Highly recommend sizing up!!

I'm a size 12 and ordered a 16 due to other people's comments and it's definitely the way to go. 2 sizes up, girls!Everything as expected, the suit is beautifully crafted and it really "smoothes out" a curvy body like mine. The only problem I had was that the border of the "leg holes" is not very elastic and fits kind onf tight in the inner thigh, in my case. Hope they will stretch out once I wear the suit a few times.

Perfect swim suit! Exactly what I was expecting, would recommend it to anybody, you will want to size up by one or two sizes though.

I've had this suit before in a size 14, and it lasted about two years before being bleached by a hot tub. The 14 always fit me a bit snug (I wear a 12 in dresses and a 16 in jeans). Because I loved it so much, and always received so many compliments on the style, I reordered it in a size 16. It fits much better (the 14 was tight in the legs). Every time I wear it, people fawn over the style of my suit. Very flattering.
