Great shoes

Once upon a time, I bought a pair of Merrell Moabs that fit me like a glove. I wore them in the mountains through technical terrains. I took them out to the desert and rocks and up and down dunes. They were so comfortable I wore them everywhere in the city and walked hundreds of miles in them. They finally gave out after 3 grueling years on my wide duck feet. I never found another pair that fit like those Moabs. I’ve gone through at least 2 more pairs of Moabs, a pair of Sirens and Eries each—but they all pinched the sides of my high-arch duck feet and I could not wear them for more than 10 miles at a time before the foot swelling from all that walking made them painful. I even tried wide widths in other brands: Keen, Vasque, Salomon, even Oboz were not comfortable like that first pair of Moabs. I didn’t think anyone made decent shoes for wide feet anymore. Until now. Thanks, Merrell, for bringing back the best hiking shoes ever. I’m going to be looking for some high top boots soon. Please make a wide one of those too for the snow.

I love Merrell shoes and this is the first time I found the fit uncomfortable for me. You have to try for yourself and see how they feel for you. This won’t stop me from future purchases of Merrells.

I ordered these previously but sent them back as arch was too high but loved the roomy toe bed, Vibram soles and color. After trying several other brands I reordered these and switched out the sole inside and they are great. Loving them!

I love these, beautiful color, roomy,good arche support. I have to use inserts which made them even better.

Excellent support. Able to hike on boulders, will buy again.

Very good fit in socks, which you would expect to wear hiking.Breathable and correct the arch without painful aching.The heel as well as the toes is a correct and comfortable fit.

This is the third pair of Merrell's I've had, and I love this brand, overall. I've learned to get a half size larger, and they fit my size 7 foot perfectly. But they tend to be slippery. There's something about the pattern on the bottom that's hit or miss -- there was no problem with the last pair I got 2 years ago, but in these, I've almost fallen twice on my wet driveway. I live in the Pacific Northwest, where it rains. A lot. These will have to be saved for dry days.
