Hy-Ko Products Split Key Ring,2 in,Tempered Steel

KEY RING TOO THICK FOR ALL KEYS. My 2" key ring thickness is 1/8". These are 3/16' . Don't sound like much but it makes the difference between some keys like car keys. My car keys with the black plastic slot handle ( Like GM & Honda ) well break if you use these rings. Same with push botton car door openers. I E'MAILED THIS COMPANY ON THE THICKNESS; NO ANWSER. NONE. SELLER; put the thickness down so other people don't have too go thru what I have. UPDATE; I noticed my key ring has a flat on each wire in center. this give smaller thickness. The 1/8" & flats in center makes the difference between the two. This is one case to buy at the hardware store. You will pay lot more but really how many do most people need? MEASURE BEFORE YOU BUY.

This is a very well made key ring and the only reason I gave it three stars is because it is too thick. While almost every key I had would go onto the ring about half of them would bind up and not move easily or rotate around the ring. This would be the perfect size key ring if a person was willing to go to the trouble of using a round file and ream out each key hole.

I think this manufacturer has some packaging problems. When I was getting ready to write this review, I noticed another review for the 1-3/4 version of these key rings that said they measured 2 inches. I have the opposite problem. The 2 inch product measured 1-3/4 inches. I didn't realize this until I had used a few of them, so at this point it would be too much trouble to send them back. Also, as other reviewers have said, they are too thick. There are a few keys that I'll have to drill out to make them work with this product.The only good thing is that you get quite a few of them for the price.It will work (mostly) for what I'm going to use it for, but I certainly wouldn't buy these again.

These rings got here fast. However, when they got here I relized they were not quit the right size. The discription did not give me a great idea of what I was actually getting. They are 2" in diameter not circumference.

50 RINGS. PUT IN MY SAFE WHERE I'LL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO FIND THEM. GREAT FOR HANGING KEYS ON HOOKS. AVG COST WAS $0.40 WAY CHEAPER THAN HARDWARE STORE. RI9NGS ARE STRONGER THAN KEY CHAINS WHICH CAN BREAK AND YOU COULD POSSIBLY LOSE SOME KEYS. WON'T HAPPEN WITH RINGS. WORK GREAT. PROBABLY NEVER RUN OUT. GOOD QUALITY. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THEM.

just what i was expecting, 2" key ring

Just what I needed.Check the measurements to be certain you're getting just what you need, but don't spend money driving to a hardware store when Amazon can bring it right to you.This makes it highly affordable and cost competitive

I hate small key rings, even when I only have a few keys. I like having room to flip through my keys. Good quality product.
