Q: The stamps I received are correct in number but two of them are the same, so I only get 9 varieties. is this meant to be?

Hello, I checked my 10 stamps and they are all different, however, there two flower patterns look very similar. Actually I have never used all 10, I have my 3 or 4 favourites so it is not an issue for me.

Q: Reckon I can bake shortbread with these?

Yes, you are right! I baked shortbread and they turned out really well.

Q: Is it thickness adjustable?

To a small extent. The thickness of the resulting mooncake depends on how much unformed mooncake dough you put in the mould. You just press down on it until the pattern is formed, then gently push it out. I weight each portion of dough so the resulting cakes are all more or less the same size and thickness. It works very well.

Q: Are the disks dishwasher safe

Sorry I don't have a dishwasher, so can't say for sure. but the plastic is quite solid so is probably ok. I washed them by hand with a brush, it was easy to do, then let them dry thoroughly before using again, otherwise the flour will stick in the groves.
