Our German shepherd pup was pulling terribly to point of being unwalkable. This lead has honestly made a huge difference. It’s because the thickness of the lead means I can really have a good hold of him. Also it’s not too long so I don’t get all tangled up holding excess lead. If you have a puller try this lead. I have the clip one as well but slip is better as my dog manages to get his head out of a normal collar.

Good for walks where you know there's a high probability of encountering other dogs.+ You don't need to hold slack in your other hand.+ The leather cinch seems to be good quality. I've only had it a short while but it's plenty stiff and better quality than the rubber one I had previously.

Best dog lead ever. Very soft but strong and well made.

Top quality lead. Comfortable and has enough give. Slightly short but manageable only thing I don't like are the leather bindings as they are too stiff and hard edges.

Bought 4’ slip leash. It helped a lot to walk my old dog. He used to pull, but now no more pulling.

I was very pleased with this lead. It is lightweight and flexible, easy to put on my pup and appears to be durable and strong. The 1/2 inch by 4 feet is the perfect size for me and helps me control my Black Lab. He cannot get a good running start with it only being 4 feet. I am ready for him when he pulls. It is comfortable for me to hang on to and it seems my pup prefers it over his metal choke chain. I also like the slide leather tab feature to snug it around his neck. The tab held in place well throughout our walk. The collar part of the lead fits high on the pup's neck compared to the choke chain I had been using. I think this helps me control him as well. I had my husband try it out. He said he had better control and the pup did not pull as hard. He liked it. I got it in orange, perfect for hiking in the woods. I really do want to own another one. I am not sure if the pup would chew it up as he is in that stage. So, I will keep a close eye on this lead and put it on a hook when finished with our walk. This lead is a keeper and worth taking care of!

Ordered this for a 35-lb Aussie-Cocker mix as we headed for our first CPE Agility trial (where collars aren't allowed in the ring). It's terrific - really easy to adjust to the right size, and to slip-on & slip-off very quickly (well...unless you're nervous during your first trial :-). The adjustment stays in place thanks to secure & very well-made leather restrictor. Good weight/circumference for our 35-lb dog but a little too big/thick for our 22-lb Mini Aussie. (We got the 3/8" version for him, and every bit as happy with that one.)
