Love this style
I lost my other one in my house fire, so I was thrilled to find this type of dog waterer!!Yes, it will dribble or "leak" a VERY small amount, when there's water in it and it's positioned other than vertical. However, in my experience they ALL do this. I don't see this as really an issue, especially since it will be usually used outside, so if there's a little extra bit of water (besides that of your dog drinking), it probably won't matter! This style of waterer is so easy to use, and great for traveling, hiking, walks, and any time you're away from home and a dish. I highly recommend it!

Very hand, steel dents
This is great for water on the go. You can carefully drain back in what your dog doesn't drink (about 98%, there will be some water left in the silicone-beware if you are keeping this somewhere you want to stay dry) it all. Bowl is deep enough for my large (73lb Am Staff-boxer). Holds enough water for a one hour walk for him. Wide mouth makes it easy to clean and refill. My only complaint is how easy it is to dent the steel body. I've lost some volume and caused a leak in my previous bottle because of dropping it and the metal denting. But the style is so convenient that I bought a second one. No more lost bowls for us!

Great for fast drinkers
We previously had one of those plastic bottles with the blue lids that double as a bowl where you press a button to release water. The water trickles out and was way too slow for my impatient dog. I basically had to unscrew the lid and pour directly into it to satisfy her thirst. This bottle fixes that problem. The water pours out very quickly and let's her chug to her heart's content. The one down side is that not all the water goes back into the bottle. When you try to drain the after back in, there's always an ounce or two left to dump out, which is fine when you're outside. However, when you are in the car, it kind of makes a mess.

Amazing!
Perfect for a dog walker. I used one of these at a wedding I was the dog squad for ordered one that night! It’s a all in one! Which is great so one isn’t carrying a bowl and bottle. Coworkers have also since purchased these for there pups.

Sturdy and easy to use. Your thirsty dog will love you having this along for a walk.
We have tried several travel water bottles, but don't need to look further. The stainless steel bottle with the silicone dispenser is the perfect combination. If you have a thirsty mutt, this is a must have for travel / walk during the hot summer.

Great for dog owners who like to hike and be active with their pets!
I was very confused with how to use it at first, so including a picture with this gift is important. But since I've gotten it, I've gotten to take it with me and my dog and neither of us runs out of water on adventures because we have our own full bottles. The bottle is sturdy so I can just toss it in my bag and not worry about it. It's also shallow so I don't feel like I'm wasting water if my dog isn't super thirsty and I dump the water out of the bowl.

Happy with the product
After carrying regular Camelback water bottles for the dogs this thing is great. They drink a far great percentage of the water and less is spilled. Most of the water they do not drink can be drained back into the bottle for later. The dogs would prefer the Camelback bottle and drinking the waterfall through my hands, but as I am the one carrying the water they can use the more efficient method. After they got used to it they do not seem to mind, but would still rather I pour half the water on the ground. It is fairly easy to refill on the trail from the Osprey hydro backpack. It does leak a little where the rubber meets the metal - not bad.It would have a 5 star review if it did not leak. I would give it 4 3/4 stars if I could.

What a great idea
I would give a 5 for everything but the container leaks when it is on its side.

A+ product but best for one dog or short walks
The media could not be loaded. It’s exactly what we wanted and for the most part, an A+ product. Best used for one dog only or a short walk.PRO’s: ergonomic barbell body makes it nice to carry with a female sized hand, along with the wrist strap. The metal body means it can take a beating (ours is dented, probably from a drop). Water flow is good and by tipping it back, most of the unused water is able to flow back into the bottle, which means less waste and less to carry if you don’t have to bring more to account for what’s wasted. It doesn’t leak, unless you forget or don’t fully click the water shut off button. The dogs seem to like it and use it without hesitation.CON’S: it’s fairly heavy (10.7 oz empty / 36 oz full), which if you have two dogs means lugging two bottles and more likely in a back pack. This defeats the purpose, because at 3 cups of water held per bottle, you could then tote a normal wide mouth water bottle and collapsible bowl, carrying the same or more water with as much ease of use while likely lighter. The one button releases the water and the other gates it, but that can be a bit awkward and wasn’t intuitive to me my first use, which caused it to leak. The bowl has to be reversed into the drinking bowl position and is stiff, which makes it sturdy, but also a bit awkward to unfold.

So much better than any other I've tried
This is a great dog water bottle. We have tried several others in the past, all of them plastic that either broke or started to leak not long after purchase, plus, they didn't hold near enough water. I love that I don't have to carry a separate bowl to keep him hydrated. It's also great that the canister is steel instead of plastic, if it falls the biggest problem might be a dent. If your dog is anything like mine and will only drink when the bowl is full, but only actually takes one or two sips, it is easy to tilt most of the water back into the canister (though one improvement might be to have a filter for the water going back in, as a lot of the time there is dirt or lots of goober mixed in). I did notice that the "bowl" can be difficult to turn inside out, but I've been told that it gets easier with use.

Looks great but plastic top fell apart
The product arrived looking exactly as advertised. The flip up drinking bowl was a good portable size and shape for our 50lb dog. But the first click on the lid to open it and the plastic top fell apart into its component pieces. Its a cheap plastic lid of parts that don't fit together properly. Had to return it as I couldn't reassemble. Return was simple and went smoothly. Credited full amount of purchase. Looking again for a quality travel water bottle for our dog...

Useful, but the lid leaks water after each use
A significant amount of water remains in lid after each use & leaks out while walking. Maybe if you carry the bottle in a waterproof bag, you could avoid getting wet, but the bottle definitely leaks.

Large leak 4 months after purchase
I liked the design but unfortunately the base of the bottle began to leak 4 months after purchase and the strap broke off soon after purchase. It was moderately expensive so I thought it would last longer than this.
