The top positive and top critical reviews here are both wrong
The top positive review says this tank uses a 3/8" line that you need to reduce to 1/4". As of June 1, 2022, this is incorrect. The unit does not come with any line connectors. The tank has a Male 3/4" NPT pipe thread coming out of the top valve hole not a 3/8" line. You'll need a Female 3/4" NPT to 1/4" or 3/8" line adapter depending on what your system uses. My system is an Express Water which uses a 1/4" adapter so the "APEC Tank Ball Valve With 3/4 inch NPTF And ¼” Output" adapter worked perfectly! -https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M22LDCOYou going to want to confirm that your system uses a 1/4" line as some RO systems use 3/8" lines instead. The top critical review says that the unit came with the water valve, "completely shut...like the tank liner was either installed incorrectly or not cut where it should be to allow water flow"When you look in the water valve hole on top of the tank you will see the air blatter pressed up against it. THIS IS NORMAL. The bladder is pushing up against the valve hole as it's under air pressure by design. Once installed and your RO system is under pressure the bladder will be pushed back as the tank is filled with delicious clean water.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. It's a great upgrade from the 5-gallon tank my original system shipped with.

No... it's not defective!
I have noticed a few reviews where people thing they have a defective unit because of the "blocked" water inlet. The attached photo is how it is supposed to look. It is the rubber bladder in the tank that provides the air pressure to expel the water when filled. I used a 3/4 inch female threaded Tee with 3/4 to 1/2 inch bushings on the inlet and outlet side. My RO is attached via a 1/4" John Guest (push connect) fitting and the outlet uses 1/2 inch John Guest fitting with 1/2 inch RO tubing with a John guest ball valve at the end. This allows me to refill 5 gallon drinking water containers very rapidly. Saves a lot of money at the office over having the water cooler delivery service. Make sure to dump the first 2-3 tank fills just to get rid of any nasties that might be in the tank from manufacturing.

Great item for an R.O. system.
I bought this for my RO system. My system has a booster pump that shuts off at 40 psi so this only pumps a total of 10 gallons into the 20 gallon tank. I contacted customer service and they sent me a pressure control switch that raises the pressure to 80psi. I am going to try it when I get time. I would recommend to anyone using any RO tank to fill it and flush it out before the first use. I would buy this again, and from the same seller "Express Water".

Value that comes with tank
The valve that comes with the tank was cracked so tank leaked. For $11 we went to Ace Hardware and purchase another one.

Well packaged and arrived ahead of schedule
This tank will be used with a new RO water system from Express Water that I am in the process of installing. Express Water has been very helpful in designing this tank into their system. The tank is just as it is advertised, well packed, and arrived faster than the listing indicated. Do, however, beware that the listed 20-gallon size is NOT the water capacity of the tank. The water holding capacity of this tank is only about 14.5-gallons. If you need the full 20 gallon size, you should step up to the next size.

Totally awesome, should have bought one years ago.
Installs easily. Simply swap your current accumulator tank with this one. I was concerned it wouldn't work, because this tank uses a 3/8" line and my RO uses a 1/4". But no, it works fine. Reduce the 3/8" line to 1/4" with parts you can find at any hardware store, no problem. Not only does it hold A LOT more water, but it increases the total volume of water flow and pressure coming out of the RO tap.

Defective unit
Unit came with the water valve completely seal shut. Looks like the tank liner was either installed incorrectly or not cut where it should be to allow water flow.Called the service number and emailed them with photos, they did get back to me about 24 hours later but didn’t seem to understand the problem at all. The customer support email send me long irrelevant instructions instead of addressing the actual problem I contracted them about. Returning unit .

Very easy to set up. Looks good and no leaks.
I’m using this product is an emergency drinking water supply. With the power outages in California, I felt that the existing reverse osmosis tank was too small

Same unit I had for 25 years.
Did not come with a fitting to go from 1/2" to 3/4" pipe but I had part around the house to make it work with a small modification to the base. Got this item faster than lockdown order online and then going to town and picking it up. And did I mention over $70 in savings.
