DOZYANT 12 feet Propane Hose with Regulator 3/8 inch Quick Connect Disconnect Replacement for Propane Gas Big Heater Indoor Outdoor Heater, Type 1 Connection Fittings

Had to take off the quick disconnect from the hose and bought a 3/8 to 1/4 bell only way it would work.. I have the Mr buddy medium size.

Good hose but the 1st time I hooked it up gas wouldn't pass through. After contacting Mr Buddys customer service I learned there is a safety device or problem inside the quick connect end. Under certain conditions it would the end would close. Such as opening the tank too quickly. Big Buddy service rep advised to strike the end a few times on wood and that might reset the hose end. It worked! Im sure many folks don't know this so maybe this will help someone.

The hose and fittings seem to be good quality. The hose is a little stiff but I was uncoiling it at 32 Deg F. It did straighten out with a little persuasion.

This hose comes with everything you need to connect a Mr Heater Big Buddy to a 20 # LP (BBQ grill) tank.This hose has a regulator that reduces the tank pressure down to .4 to .5 psi for the heater.LP Tank pressure varies based on ambient temperature.@ 100 deg F, tank pressure = 172 psi@ 70 deg F = 145 psi@ 30 deg F = 51 psi@ 0 deg F = 23.5 psiThe regulator keeps the quick connect 12 ft hose pressure around .5 psi.This quick connect is a better system than using other type hoses which connect the tank pressure directly to the 1 lb tank regulators (part 78544) inside the Big Buddy, and require a special fuel filter ( part F273699).By running high tank pressure through the hose, plasticizers (basically oils) in the hose materials, will leech into the hose and will accumulate in the tubing inside the heater, causing eventual heater failure by plugging the lines. That is why a special filter is required to trap the contaminants from the hose before it reaches the heater. Plus the filters should be changed every year.This hose system appears well built. The connections worked well.If I experience any issues I will update this review.

Great buy, works as good as the overpriced ones.

It's guite a hose. It's lengthy and has the right girth that gets the job done. It's definitely a preformer. Delivering the goods in a steady flow. It's sure to satisfy.

Just what I needed for my Mr. Heater. It does take a short time to flush the air out and get the propane going. The quick disconnect makes things so much harder easier though.
