Perfect.
I had never considered getting a new sprinkler system. This was easy to set up after installing it to my wall. I set everything else up via the app. Let me know when it’s starting to water and when it’s done as well as what section it’s on. You can find it all in the app. Great product.

Beware they auto upgrade firmware but have no way to downgrade
Cutsomer support says there is no way to downgrade firmware that gets automatically upgraded. I have 2 units experiencing problems for the last couple months that valves are turning off and random other valves are turning on when the other valve is supposed to be running. I reported that this is something the has happened in the last several months and am running Firmware 0096. They stated the last firmware was 0087. They did not know how I got it. Then they came back and said 96 was released a couple months back and I am current and there are no issues. I am having issues for the past several months and asked to be rolled back on firmware. They say there is no way to roll back firmware. That is unacceptable. I have 7 units there is hardware revisions 25G2 25E ad 25F. I have used the systems for years and bought newer ones. I have had issues with Wireless connections being lost and not getting connected, multiple valves being on a the same time and the wrong valves being on. Many valves will shut off after a minute or so and they have no way to roll back a potential bad sofware. Pathetic. I hav eused Orbits for 40 years ever since I was a landscaper in my 20's. I have almost 40 valves at my properties and 7 6 and `12 port timers. They can not tell me when firmware was released, what changes were in the firmware for what reasons or what the hardware revision changes are or even what hardware revisions were tested agains the firmware, Buyer be ware. Lots of complaints on the internet about poor wifi and other things, I have $1,000 worht of their product currently installed and they can not perform a simple fiormware downgrade. Pathetic.

Garbage
When it works it's fine, and connectivity is a huge plus feature, but there are so many glitches and their tech support is slow (probably overwhelmed with all the issues).I use this remotely for a vacation property. The first major issue was that the watering history said it wasn't watering. I panicked and drove 3 hrs to see how much landscaping I had lost. None. It was a known glitch, as yet unfixed, but why didn't they notify customers?? Second huge glitch, I can't save changes to my programs. I have extreme weather fluctuations from 75 degrees to over 100 in 1 day. I notified tech support over a week ago, no return contact so far. I'm going to have to replace with a real company's controller.

Two failures in two years!
After 12 months of service it stopped working and gave me a No Ac message. Factory replaced. 12 months later another failure with same message. I think I’ll try something else

Defective Orbit Timer Product - Poor Customer Service
Great potential product but poorly executed by Orbit. My unit would work for a few days then loose all information for half of the stored stations (always nos. 7-12). Cloud storage problem by the B-hyve app or defective unit ? I never did find out. Customer service repeatedly stated that the app wasn't up to date (it was) or blamed my wireless (wifi connection with the unit was never a problem). Final straw is Customer service saying that Orbit will replace my unit, then sending me to a warranty website that doesn't work (just bounces me out with no promo code provided). Spent way too much time trying to fix this product and finally gave up. Installing the competitor product tomorrow.
