Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint - Furniture Wax (7oz/200g)

This is fantastic wax -- soft and almost like a cream. I actually purchased to use on an upholstered chair that I painted with chalk type paint. Most people have used Annie Sloan wax on their painted upholsterey, but I had tried a paste wax on a sample I did not like it. Someone said they had used Miss Mustard Seed wax and lots of people rave about this wax for wood furniture so I decided to try it,. I wanted a very light application and I did not want to buff it as I did not want to have any shine. I used very little and it worked great. I put two light coats on the parts of the chair that I would touch. The wax helps protect and makes the fabric softer after painting. I purchased a 7oz container and probably did not use more than one ounce.

Great wax! I have used this on multiple projects, multiple paint types and it works great. You only need to use a little bit, then wait about 5 minutes to wipe it down. I use old baby bodysuits as my wax rags. You may want to add a couple more coats if it's a high traffic item. I used the wax on this piece, it really helped it to keep from chipping

Too expensive for the money. Cheaper to just make your own.

I bought this Wax over the others because I did not want toxic stinky smell. This one does not smell at all. I returned the ren one as it had a hint of bad smell. Worked great on my bathroom cabinet chalk project.

This is by far the best wax I have used! I use it over my chalk paint furniture. Easy to apply. Only need a tiny bit. Buffs to a nice shine. Haves tried other waxes, this so far works the best!

Nothing works like Miss Mustard Seed milk paint..Love this product have been using over two years but was so excited to see on prime since I have been ordering from a private store and paying shipping..

Bought the wrong wax. My fault. Will try it and definitely use it!!

Rich, soft wax. I use it for a top coat on my chalk painted furniture. I like this wax much better than ASCP soft wax. Much easier to use.
