Recommended Product -Good Quality and Fit
I have tried various shoe trees from several different brands and I have found the Seeadler to be the best quality for the price. Three important factors that I considered was the instep profile, the diameter of the heal and the quality of the wood. First the instep is important because I have found some of the competition instep was not high enough to fit the profile of the shoe. Secondly I found some of the heals to be made to narrow causing the back of the shoe to become pointed as opposed to rounded. If that is what I wanted I could have oped for just a shoe stretcher. Lastly the wood on some of the other trees used pieces of cedar that was glued together or had excessive amount of knots which in time would result in a crack in my opinion. If I found the wood to be too white it appear to be birch as opposed to cedar. I had even come across one that artificially cedar fragmented so the wood so it appears more genuine. This became quite obvious since the smell was so over powering. You will also find some companies such as Loake have shoe trees that are branded by themselves the only problem is they don't make them. So what is the point of a name if the shoe tree doesn't do the job. I researched Seeadler before buying and from what I know they manufacture shoe trees, that it. In my opinion they do it well, I would recommend this for a purchase and can anticipate myself buying 2-3 more pair within the next six months for I find the quality matches what you are paying

Fantastic product. Extremely happy with the build quality, the fit and the superb follow up customer service (not because I had a problem I would add, they just wanted to check I was happy and offer advice on how to fit the product correctly - top marks!)These are real quality.As I said to the customer service team, "I feel like I have just shopped on the Saville Row of shoe trees!"My experience has been that Seeadler take extreme pride in their product and their customer service - and they are a pleasure to deal with.What is more I am now incredibly happy that I chose not to go with the various cheaper options - the extra money was worth it.I wholly recommend these and I will be back when needed.

Fantastic product and outstanding customer service
Having finally saved enough for a decent pair of shoes, I wanted to make sure I could keep them in tip top condition. Given the shoe manufacturer makes their own shoe trees, I did consider theirs but they were exceedingly expensive - then I found the Seeadler brand and cannot praise them enough! The product itself is very high quality and feel much more expensive than their actual price which I think is outstanding value given the craftsmanship involved in producing them. And I cannot fault the customer service and after sales support from Alice who checked with me after my purchase to offer advice and then again shortly after delivery to check I'm 100% satisfied with the trees - I most definitely am and will be buying more pairs as my shoe collection grows! Highly recommended! !

Great! Just order one size smaller ;)
Great quality and nice packaging.I originally ordered a size 44 for my recently purchased leather shoes (size 10 UK).The front fit well and seemed to flatten the leather marks. However, I had to battle in order to take it out of the shoes. It did not seem convenient for a daily usage, when coming back from / going to work. If you plan to use it for storage, great! Otherwise, order one size smaller.I actually returned the size 44 and re-ordered a size 43 instead. It's now perfect!

Amazing, Just remember to buy a half size smaller
Great product. The quality is seen as soon as receive the box, right through to using it. The high quality cedar wood and workmanship is amazing and for the price I would have easily paid more. I bought a half size smaller on the recommendation of most of the reviews and I found that it was correct. I didn't even need to adjust it in anyway, I bought a size 6.5 for a size 7 shoe. Its a good fit and keeps the shoe in a shape and when you take the shoe tree out, can can smell the aroma left by the wood.

Look no further, I'm impressed.
This is a really high quality pair of shoe trees for a very reasonable price when compared with the price in mid-high end shoe stores, even my cobbler charges more. The wood (cedar?) smells incredible and the design is clever because there is no brass knob which could break.Overall very impressed, will update my review in a year or so after heavy use - but so far so good.

Good for expensive shoes
Bought these for a pair of expensive Church's shoes and they help keep the shape of the shoe and reduces creases. Will buy another pair but next ones I order will be my shoe size. I ordered a half size smaller because of other peoples reviews saying they were too small.

Good quality and fit with my Jeffrey Wests
I bought one to try it out for my many Jeffrey Wests (they live forever and collect in a way that would make Imelda Marcos blush), at a quarter what Jeffrey West charge for a shoe tree, I thought I'd give it a go.I read the previous comments and I chose slightly smaller than I needed (a 45 for my various size 11 to 11.5's) and it did the job perfectly. So much so that I bought half a dozen of them and even used them instead of the solo jeffrey west shoe tree I already have (they have a better push on the bridge) . One minor issue that was easily remedied, is that I've had to sand off the side lip on the moveable front quarter to stop it catching the leather on it's way out of the shoe, but other than that I can recommend them.
