Best option for e39 cup holder upgrade
I think all e39 owners know the struggle of the OEM cup holders. This is a very good answer for that. I knew after seeing it that it would be permanent for me so I glued it in but you can use double sided tape or whatever you'd like to really secure it into place. Can fit all the regular fast food cups and whatever else as long as it's not super wide. Very nice addition, will update as time goes on.

decent cup holder
My car actually uses a retractable cup holder, but this one fist in the empty tray space perfectly. That, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg like the original retractable one which goes for anywhere near ninety-eight dollars to well over three-hundred if you buy a brand new one from the factory. No thank you. This one cost about fourteen dollars or less, I can't really remember, and works just as well.The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because it isn't retractable. But it doesn't need to be for me.

Very inventive way to solve a BMW problem.
BMWs have the world's worst cup holders. The one in mine broke (just a small spring) but to fix it you had to remove the entire dashboard at a cost of about $500. This corrected the problem with a much sturdier holder that doesn't intrude too much on the aesthetics of the dash.

Needed a cup holder
We bought an older BMW with flip out cup holders. They held nothing, so these were a good alternative. Are they great, no, but they are better than nothing! They definitely hold a water bottle. The holder is low and the holes are small. So things fall out or don’t fit. But again, better than nothing, for now.

The thing fit like a glove. Those of you who own later model BMWs I strongly recommend you buy the Cupholders. Best $ I've spent in a while.

Get this, if your cupholder isn't broken.
A great solution for the e39's tiny and fragile cupholder. Get the one with the "slot" in between each cupholder well, allows you to put a regular coffee cup in it.

Doesn’t fit right hand drive cars
Turns out this is for LEFT HAND DRIVE models and is sent from the USA. Doesn’t fit RHD vehicles in the UK.
