Cadac Citi Chef 50 Gas BBQ Patio Range

Love Cadac products use one all the time when camping. Decided to buy an actual bbq for home and it’s well made and solid.

1. need to buy a separate gas bottle connector as supplied one is for CADAC bottles (i.e. South African bottles), and won't fit CALOR gas bottles. Amazon has spare CALOR gas bottle connectors for £10 or less.2. Wheels need their C clamp to be closed with pliers before they will go into their holes. As a woman, not necessarily all that familiar with assembly of this kind of thing, it took a while to figure out why the wheels weren't going into the holes, despite giving it some whellie! Luckily, a google search found the solution for a similar model of CADAC barbecue with the same issue.3. Apart from the above 2 issues, the barbecue itself is solidly constructed and pretty simple to put together.

I have a small cadac, Grillo Chef.Brilliant bit if kit.So I brought this for the bigger occasions. BIG MISTAKE.The burner keep going out when a small breeze hits it.I was sent a new burner. That took the first season.Season 2, 2023. 1st BBQ, it went out, again! As I was away for a few minutes I relit unknowing the gas had built up in the hood, it was raised up and I had fat on me!So very disappointed in the product. So I moved the Gas over to my little Gillo Chef and no issues at all. Gillo gets 10 starts. Making contact with Cadac uk. Updates to follow.
