Good concept, poor execution.
We used these dams to prevent flooding from Hurricane Dorian. We were flooded the year before by Hurricane Florence and didn't want to go through that again. They worked fine, as far as ease of placement and then absorbing water, swelling up, and protecting the selected areas. The problem came afterwards. Here it is, 4 months later, and they are still swollen and weigh over 50 lbs each - not easy to move around. We kept them under a tarp so they wouldn't get rained on, but that didn't help. You'd have to have a large indoor space to let them dry out, and it would be a bear dragging them all in there. We ended up loading them on a trailer and taking them to the landfill. Good concept, poor execution. Giving 3 stars because they did what was claimed in the front end, but as far as drying out for storage and re-use, forget it.

These dams were our basement's flooding answer
These were easy to place along the base of our house. when it rained again they bloated up, and wedged themselves along the edge and channeled the running water to the back of the yard. I may add pictures of these when i get a chance, but for the side of our house they do not look bad, and i have decided to leave them in place.
