I prefer percolator coffee
This a nice percolator. For years I used a Mr Coffee drip and I hated it. Poorly designed, every time I used it I’d spill water all over as I tried to fil the resovoir. I used to do percolators so I decided to do it again. This is a standard percolator. It does its job very well. And the coffee is great, full bodied, wonderful aroma.

Makes great coffee
I bought this after reading the reviews and got a great price as it was refurbished. It is very sleek, doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter & makes great coffee in around 4 minutes. We simply fold a regular coffee filter into quarters & tear a very small hole to fit over the inside piece, use regular ground coffee (put your finger over the top of the metal tube that fits into the clear top piece to keep coffee out of the pot circulation). The smell & sound of coffee perking was missing with our Bunn drip coffee maker. The coffee is hotter than the Bunn too. We love it & have actually ordered a total of 4 for gifts & to have an extra percolator when this one burns out.

Oh sweet memories of these kind of coffee makers of my ...
Oh sweet memories of these kind of coffee makers of my younger years. I just love this coffee maker! It is perfect. The coffee is even hotter than other coffee makers I have on the counter (I have three choices of types of coffee makers) but I love watching this perk. This coffee maker arrived like it was brand new, looks new in every way, even the box. I did order the filters for these kind of coffee makers...I forgot the bottom can have some breakdown of grounds, but that's ok, it is memories too of sharing coffee with my mother years ago. I know I can't find anything wrong to say, but when there is ANYTHING that brings back long lost memories I am all for it. That jingle of the coffee perking in the glass top also goes through my head while it is perking. I made a good choice in every way with this. :)

This percolator is the bomb!!
I've always heard that percolators make the best coffee. The reviews for this product we're all positive so I decided to take a chance and purchase it. I have been using drip coffees for quite a long time. Since chemistry was one of weaker subjects. I could never seem to get the ratio right. Hence my coffee always tasted burnt. I decided to switch to percolator coffee and was so pleasantly surprised how easy it is to make the coffee and the taste was far superior than the drip. So glad I finally converted to the percolator!!!! You will be very happy with this purchase

Perfect pot of Coffee
We ditched the coffee pots and we love the Perculator. This one is good. Some have complained about the lid and we have had no problems with it breaking. We have the perfect pot of coffee every morning.

Mine is refurbished
Updated…..Well this was pretty good until it stopped perking my coffee 2 days ago. It got hot but the coffee never come up the pipe into the lid. Nothing happened but the water got warm in the bottom of the pot. I’m pretty sad about it too. I like the extra flavor from perking it and also having a actual Hot cup of coffee. I returned it 🙁I’m pleased with the fact I only paid 40$ for it. It takes 4 to 5 minutes to brew which is good. I use the disc filters so very little coffee grounds. The flavor of the coffee is good. That’s why I wanted one because I want more flavorful coffee. The stay hot feature could be better because your second cup isn’t warm enough for me. I am concerned about the clear knob on top the lid being plastic because I’ve read some people had theirs crack. I can see how too. That should have been glass. Being cuisnart I expected it to be better made. But it’s light and cheap looking which if you paid full price it makes wonder what you paid 80$ for. So coffee is good in it. But seems poorly made and needs a better stay warm feature.

Perconow and Percolator !!
I was already in the market for a percolator. I mean nothing makes a better cup of coffee than a percolator. I was ready to shell out $50+ for one when I ran across this one. At THIS price, how could I NOT get it? Let me tell you, I love it. Rich coffee, rich aroma, and rich pockets since it was less than 1/3 the price of a new one. I can't speak on longevity just yet, but I will update. Yes, a few grinds of the fine ground coffee gets pass, but you won't even see them until you get to the very bottom of your cup. All percolators do this. To remedy this, just use the 3.5" perc filters. You get 100 for about a buck. Also, let me say that this thing is beautiful. Mirror finish with a unique shaped handle. And the way the "skirt" sits flushed on the countertop, lovely. And, of course, the clear knob on top. Who dosen't turn into a big kid when they see the coffee percolating? Something this nice for this price I had to give it five stars.

All
Ok everyone. There are many simple solutions to all the problems you may be encountering. First, coffee grounds in your coffee, buy cheap coffee filters tear a little hole in the center and slide it around the brew rod. Second, coffee getting cold, leave it plugged in until your finished drinking, it will not harm it. I do it all the time and have for years. Third, fill the water to the 12 cup line, eyeball putting your coffee in the filter one placed in the basket. Leave 1/4 inch from the top. I like it strong. You can do coarse ground coffee and bypass the regular coffee filter but the coarser the coffee the weaker the coffee. I am an avid coffee drinker and have been for years. I have tried every coffee maker around, but always go back to this one. Hope this helps!!!
