What a great cd . This was great from start to finish. She has such a beautiful voice. I will be purchasing more of her music.

Morgan James is awesome! What a talent! What a voice! What musicality! I happened upon her by complete accident and I am so glad I did! Read the other reviews for additional clarification. I lucked out and got to see her in concert locally. Charming and has such good taste musically with the talent to match. Buy this recording! Your music collection is not complete without it!

Rumor is that Morgan James was turned down by American Idol and "The Voice" and AGT becasue the producers of the 3 shows wanted a fair fight.....lol. She really is that good and if this CD is not to your liking, check out her work with Scott Bradlee and Post Modern Jukebox. There isn't a genre she can't sing, much like an Eva Cassidy, whose career was stifled by record execs forcing her to stick with one format. I hope Morgan's bosses see that she can succeed with all formats and just let her sing!!!

Morgan has such a versatile voice and she adapts fluidly to different styles. Consequently one may not "love" every interpretation she brings to her craft, but I truly appreciate the talent this lovely lady exhibits in every piece she graces.

I love this album...Morgan James has a vocal range beyond belief and she finds a genuine interpretation unique to each track. I enjoy the variety of styles presented and am impressed that she records all of the vocals without any electronic manipulation. No post-production pitch correction... Seeing her in concert is exciting because she actually sings live; no lip syncing...just her with an awesome band that incomparable voice and a microphone. I enjoyed her first album, but this album shows her composing talent, too.

I bought the CD " Hunter" and I'm so happy I did. It was everything I expected. I give this 5 stars.

Great voice but actually preferred her live album of Nina Simone covers. Will still look for future releases from this artist.
