Product is used to monitor blood pressure. There is also an icon which shows an irregular heart rate.

I chose this machine because it could be plugged in. No more wondering if the readings are being skewed by weakened batteries. It is very easy to use and the cuff is large to extra large so it fits bigger arms. Have had it less than a week but so far it has been keeping even readings. The fact that it has recording for 2 people is great too.

As others report this device consistently reads 20 to 30 points higher than the readings taken by my doctor and his office staff.After I began regular BP monitoring I noticed a great deal of variability in the readings. Placement of the cuff could change the result from reading to reading even when the difference was very slight. I would actually take 5 readings, throw out the highest and lowest then average the reaming 3. After a couple of weeks of this I brought the device with me for my annual physical. At the doctor's office I compared the device results to the results of the nurse and doctor who used a stethoscope and cuff. Their results were almost identical and about 20 points lower than device readings. I have not used it since.So, while easy to use it is inaccurate.

So far I am impressed with the functionality of the unit. It takes the blood pressure reading quickly and actuarily. I take my blood twice a day and I like how easy the unit is to use and find the hard surface caring chase perfect for protecting my Blood Pressure Monitor and cuff.

Works. Nice to have if you're interested in monitoring or need to monitor. I like the cuff, seems to me a better option for accuracy. Easy enough to use.
