AMAZING!
This is my first time trying this coffee brand. I have been on a search for a good quality and smooth coffee. Some coffees have a burnt or bitter taste to them! BUT NOT THIS ONE! As soon as I opened my package I could smell the fresh beans. I was so excited that I had to brew a cup as soon as I got it! They came as whole beans(which I loved) nothing better then the aroma of a fresh ground and brewed coffee! The taste was even better then the smell!!! Smooth and clean! No bitter no burn! You can tell they really care about what they do! I would recommend this to everyone! Must try!

This is really good coffee
After grinding my own means (incorrectly) for nearly 30 years, I decided to upgrade to a burr grinder. That lead me to try so better coffees. After searching through Amazon I came across this one. When you can just brew the coffee (regardless of method) and drink it with nothing added, you know you have a hit.This coffee simply tastes great!

Not particularly good example of Ethiopian coffee
I am a big fan of Ethiopian coffee from the Yirgacheffe region. It should be medium roast, like this one, or a light roast to bring out the fruity flavors of the coffee. This example however was not particularly good. I don't know the age of the beans used, but they tasted very flat, almost dusty. The coffee is smooth and not bitter, however, there was no fruity character, typical of Ethiopian coffee. Whether this was old beans, a bad harvest, or poor handling of the beans during the drying phase of production, but I would steer clear of this coffee.

Best Roaster to buy from
I was looking for some Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and stumbled on these guys on Amazon and will never go anywhere else. Have plenty of different options - great shipping and responsive customer service. Also the coffee is great.

Delicious, earthy coffee!
Love the full and earthy flavor of this roast! Have already ordered more for friends.

darkest roast I have seen with beans that are much larger and oily ... sold as medium
Quality is bad, beans much larger than any Yirgacheffe that I have ever bought, burnt beans (super overdone) that end up being a total let down ... none of the taste you expect from the advertised coffee bean ... very harsh taste that you have to cover with milk/etc for it to be at all drinkable.
