Sheet problem
The biggest problem is the seams on the sheet are splitting after a month of using it

Super thin! Recommend buying two (I’m Japanese)
I’m Japanese and was hoping to get a Japanese style futon mattress. I wanted one so that I could co-sleep on the floor with my baby. ( I didn’t want him to fall off the bed or bother with a crib). You can’t find Japanese futons anywhere in the US so I was pretty excited to find this product. Unfortunately, this futon mattress is half or less than half of the thickness of any Japanese futon mattress I’ve ever slept on. It’s very thin and uncomfortable. I’ve never seen anything this thin even at a cheap hotel/hostel. I guess I shouldn’t have expected much since this set was cheap for a futon set. However, it’s the perfect thickness if you fold it in half. Luckily, I bought the long size (so my 6”4’ tall husband could use it) so when it’s folded in half it’s a perfect size for a baby to sleep on. My baby started rolling over and he can sleep with his arms spread out and roll over all he wants and I don’t have to worry about him falling off or banging himself against anything. If you are an adult and looking for a Japanese futon ( like you have been to Japan and you want the kind they have over there) I recommend buying two of these and putting them on top of each other.
