Dwinguler Eco-friendly Kids Play Mat - Sensory Development (Large)

I wasn't sure if we'd like this play mat based on some of the reviews, but we are thrilled with it. Actually, we have three of them now! We've had them since before my daughter could crawl. Now that she is crawling and trying to walk, this mat is perfect for all of her falls. She loves the designs which I wasn't really thrilled about. The first mat we purchased was the Safari design which shows a bunch of animals. She actually learned to crawl because she was motivated to get from one bunch of ants printed on the mat to the next. She points to the animals on the mat and can now say many of the names. She just turned one, so we are loving that it's helping with her language development. What I absolutely love is that the mats are soft, and they get softer with time. I sit on them all the time, and my back doesn't bother me like sitting on the floor. My parents have made the same comment, so they are great for all that time playing or reading to the little one. Everyone who comes to our home falls in love with the mats. They are great for rolling cars and building with blocks which isn't easy on carpeting. I highly recommend these mats!

This is a great size and thickness. I love the striped side of the "sensory" style, because it is not distracting like the rest of the busy patterns. My baby can clearly identify his toys on top of the mat and not be overstimulated by the design of the mat itself.I do, however, question how truly "green" the product is. I did a lot of research and I was never too convinced by the literature put out by Dwinguler. Oh well, it is by far the best thing on the market. I really could not find a comparable green product. Panda mat came close, but removing the cotton cover for cleaning seemed to be quite a lot of work. This mat is easy to maintain. Note that I think this is better than Babycare (same manufacturer, but this is their high end line, supposedly).

My 6month old daughter was just learning how to roll and sit, and this mat came just in time. She loved to touch (the texture is really nice) and "grab" the vividly colored objects on the mat. When put on the mat she spends more time playing with the mat itself than the other toys around her. My wife sometimes points to the bees and butterflies a little beyond her reach and she would try to follow, sometimes falling forward or sideways and landing on her face and she never showed any sign of discomfort - as a comaprison when her faced rubbed against our leather sofa surface once she cried for a good 10 minutes.Another small note:The mat occupies most of our living room space so sometimes we have a storage ottman sitting on its edge. I was originally worried that the weight on the ottman leg would leave a mark on the mat (not the surface but the stuffing) but was glad to find out that it is almost a memory foam that recovers really quickly.

This mat is an example of you get what you pay for. High end, top quality product that is durable, safe and can be used for many years to come. It is light and rolls ups easily for storage. It is totally safe to take baby's fall if need be, colorful and a good size. The double sided pattern can be use to teach the alphabet or just provide visual stimulation dependent on your babies needs. Highly recommend spending the extra money for this product. So glad we did.

the mat is a wonderful product...my bb girl loves rolling in it...she's only 6 1/2 mths old and when she falls from a sitting position, the dwinguler mat is able to cushion the impact...good product

I really, really like it. Baby is using it everyday! She is ten months and shows a lot of interest in the pictures.

My baby is enjoying it so much that she goes to bed around 7pm and sleeps through the night. It is so soft that when my baby loses her balance she does not hit her head. I love this play mat and do not regret expending the extra bucks.

Well made, added lots of cushion to our cement floors and years later is still holding up well. I know some people complained about the off gassing smell but it really wasn't too bad.

This is an amazing product. I purchased this after doing a lot of research and having heard many great reviews from my friends. It is easy to clean, thick and durable, and doesn't have any chemical smells. The new designs they have are very pretty and i can see the mat grow with my daughters as they grow older
