Waistband Stretcher

I originally gave a good review for this because it worked so well the three times I used it. On the fourth time, it broke into two pieces making it totally useless. So I am editing my first review and now giving this two stars. Maybe it should be just one star, I just don't know. I was quite angry about it breaking but pants stretchers do work and I wanted to get another one. I refused to take the chance of another plastic one breaking so I bought a solid wood/metal one which I know will not break and I am happy with it.

My husband uses this for uniform jeans he wears to work. One of the pairs is a little to tight for him so he bought this to stretch them. It worked wonderful. This is his second one. The first one he over-tightened it and it broke. He kept using it until his new one came in. He said he was skeptical when he got the first one but it definitely works. You also need to use it after each washing. He said he would recommend this to anyone who has pants that are too snug for them.

My LL Bean jeans always seem to shrink a bit after using the dryer. Now I damp 'dry' them, add the waistband stretcher and hang them to finish drying. Now my jeans aren't too small and I'm much happier. Of course you can only do 1 pair of jeans at a time...wish they came in a multi-pack.so I could wash more than 1 pair of jeans at a time. Of course, I could buy another stretcher.....

good product and I would recommend that the manufacturer provide some half length spacers however it does what it is supposed to do

Order 3 different kinds. This one is weak and bends when tightened. The wooden one (pant stretcher heavy duty) is very strong but I am afraid it will pop off the buttons. the other plastic ( inch Master) works very well and I reorder it again.

Arrived quickly. A bit of a struggle to get everything lined up but worth it instead of going up a size...lol
