It has the flavor white and brown rice, but kind of pricey

Honestly don't think I would order it again because of the price, but cooking it was easy and it came out very well. Tastes very much like normal white rice to me, just with the added benefit of brown rice. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is more focused on the nutrition aspect of rice.

I know brown rice is much better than white rice. But I always hated the taste of brown rice. This rice is a great compromise for someone like me. It feels like white rice and cooks the same way but has all the essential nutrients of brown rice. It taste great and do not need to soak.

Excellent! I don't often make my own brown rice but honestly this might convert me! Their original white/sushi rice is still by far the best IMO but this was still the best brown rice I've had at home! TBA if I end up repurchasing or if I just go for the tried and true white kagayaki, will update if so!If you're looking for brown rice though, can't go wrong with this!

I typically prefer white rice over brown, but surprisingly I really enjoy the flavor of this rice. This bag has also lasted my family through many meals. I do think it is a bit expensive for rice, but I could see myself ordering again.

I try to incorporate some brown rice into my diet even though I much prefer white rice. That being said, this is probably the best brown rice I've had and I definitely plan to purchase again. Cooks well and comes out a really nice texture every time. It may be brown rice, but it doesn't have the same strong taste that some brown rice does and I really like it. It is a bit expensive but it really is the best brown rice I've tried, so I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you aren't typically a fan of brown rice but want to use it.

This is a delicious-tasting rice with a slightly sweet mild flavor. I'm usually not the biggest fan of rice, but I really liked this even *without* any sauces/additives! It's just a pleasant mild taste on its own, and I thought it was even nicer with soy sauce. Members of the household who like to eat rice more often than I do state that it tastes almost identical to white rice, which is good because it presumably has the health benefits of brown rice but the nicer flavor of white rice.It was easy to cook in the rice cooker too--we set it to the brown rice setting and it turned out perfect--but if you don't have a specialized cooker, the bag includes stove top instructions on the back.The only category where I'd rate this anything but 5 stars would be the "value for money" category. At the time of it's review, the price is set at approximately $26 for a 4.4 pound bag. While this is VERY good tasting rice, I'm not quite sure if it's "that price for that amount" good.

I find that Sukoyaka brown rice to be my preference over Kagayaki brown rice.With my cooking equipment, I get better results with Sukoyaka brown rice and taste is better on Sukoyaka, too.
