Noctua Quality, Better Appearance and Excellent Price
For the last 15 years of building PCs, case fans were more or less an afterthought for me. I either used what the case came with, or if necessary, added some cheapo fans I had lying around.Throughout the years I've become much pickier about how my system sounds both at idle and under load. This is where these fans come in. I'm currently doing a major upgrade on my current rig which started with the purchase of a Lian Li Lancool II mesh. To go along with it I purchased a couple of Noctua 140mm fans for the front intake and moved the 3 stock fans to the rear of the case. When I first fired the system up I was a bit disappointed. While the case itself is great, I noticed a bit of a clicking or grinding noise, even at idle. After making sure nothing was making contact with any of the fan blades, I started unplugging fans one by one. Surprise surprise, all the noise vanished after disconnecting all the stock Lian Li fans and leaving the Noctuas connected. Within a couple days I had some more Noctua fans and chucked the Lian Li fans in the spare parts bin.Again, these fans may not make a huge temperature difference vs other fans, but they maintain excellent thermal performance while being virtually silent at idle and very pleasant-sounding even at their max of 1200RPM. Bear in mind there is a point of diminishing returns with fans. If you don't care about a bit of extra noise, 2 or 3 of the higher RPM versions of this fan will be more than enough to cool most systems comfortably while being unobtrusive to most people, especially headphone users.I'm a little strange, so in total I have about 8 Noctua fans including the NH-D15S stock fan, all running at very conservative speeds to keep the noise down and it's mind blowing how quickly air moves through this system relative to how quiet it is. Make no mistake, most of Noctuas products are aimed at enthusiasts and priced accordingly. These fans are different. They're cheaper than a lot of fans from reputable competitors like Scythe, Corsair and Arctic, while being much nicer looking than the OG Noctua brown fans and often way quieter at all RPMs. In spite of being cheaper and not having Noctua's latest and greatest engineering inside, these redux fans are lightyears ahead of most case fans out there. If you hate the way your case fans sound and don't care about RGB bling factor, these are an excellent option. Chances are, these fans will probably outlast the system they're cooling.

Awesome
At 1200RPM these have noticeably more airflow than my 1400RPM Thermaltake Riing 14s. They are definitely quieter and seem to scale down better at auto speeds and manage more consistent airflow. They don't have quite as much static pressure, but as unrestricted exhaust fans I don't need much. That said these have a lot more static pressure than a lot of other 1200RPM low noise case fans.I'm using 3 of these as exhaust with three of the NF-12P redux 1700s as intake in my NZXT H440 to create positive air pressure. At auto fan speeds my case is dead quiet while still maintaining very respectable temperatures. At max, these blow away every other fan I've tried in the same class. I am totally impressed by the performance you get at this RPM and noise level.I am absolutely blown away by Noctua's redux series of fans. Same exact materials and build quality, with no accessories and simpler packaging to keep the price down. With a 6 year warranty, and superior performance, I couldn't have bought better fans. These were one of the cheapest options for a performance fan as well. When buying fans for your case, take a look at the Noctua redux series before you consider anything else.

Excellent, good air pressure fan
This is the "cheap" Noctua 140mm line, but it still performs amazingly. It works well as a front intake or radiator fan, as it has enough air pressure from the blade design to pull thru cooling fins or filters. If you're not sensitive to sound, or not going for a near silent build like I was, it's probably overkill. However, if you're looking for good air output in adverse conditions, with quiet operation at full speed and near silent all the way up to ~900RPM, then this is a no brainer.

Ventilador silencioso y eficiente
