Perfect for the kids!
I grew up with these comic books and now I’ve got a copy for my kids. Some of the humor will go over a kids head but overall such a good series! Each book is beautifully illustrated and easy to understand.

Very entertaining!
Been reading these stories since I was a child. This set has two that were not in my family collection, but all the others I have read multiple times. Brother got the family set in his inheritance, so I ordered this one to have my own. Good, clean entertainment. But, treat the binding with care, our old family set has loose pages and we eventually adopted a policy of squeezing the binding with one hand while reading to prevent further damage. I intend to do the same with this new set for long term preservation.

Awesome collection
This is the collection to buy for two reasons:1 - It is the Egmont (UK) which has better font than the ones generally seen in US.2 - It is practically full sized. The hardcover adds a rim and make it look bigger but the paper pages are identical in size. The print height seems to be about 1/16 inch shorter but not noticeable unless you actually measure (I aligned in the bottom and took picture of difference in one of pictures attached to this review. The left is page from full sized hardcover and the right is this collection. This is 2nd best thing to buying all individual full sized hardcover Edmond prints from UK.

Good set
Approved by my grandson; he's now read them all. I got the paperback version after reading that the print was small on the hardcover set.

Amazing adventure comics for kids
I discovered Tintin when I was about 8 years old. My local library had many of these books in the mid1980s. They are great adventure stories. Since they were originally published as weekly cartoons in a newspaper their are narrow escapes on every page. They were written in Belgium close to a hundred years ago so some of the depictions of other cultures are outdated and inaccurate. I chose this set over the collected hard covers because this is the format I have a nostalgic attachment to.

Brings Back Memories
When I was a child we were not allowed to watch television but two hours a week. So naturally I grew up an avid reader. Some of my earliest memories are reading Tintin books I checked out from the public library. I found these om Amazon and made this a guilty purchase. I have tried reading with my son, but he does not care for it. Regardless, I enjoy them thoroughlyOnly complaint is that the slipcase -- holds all the books -- is quite flimsy and broke apart right away.
