So this device is exactly as it says it is. I have recently adopted a second dog. One is very active, one not so much. We had the idea that this device would help us on walks so we wouldn't get tangled and the slower one would speed up a bit and the speedy one may slow down a bit. However, one dog is about 10 lbs, and the other dog is about 15 lbs. The elastic on this is so thick/tight that neither dog is strong enough to really pull it. So, it doesn't really work for us. This is not an issue with the product! I just think this is meant for bigger dogs. So, I think it would work just fine for a dog that could actually put some weight behind it. If you have small dogs, find a smaller version of this.

The leash started out good, but very quickly, it started to lose the bungee recoil. Now one side is about 1ft loner than the other. The sheathing that covers the interior rubber cord also frayed apart. The leash also coils up instead of the leash releasing when the dogs spin around. One side is worse than the other, but both sides degraded quickly. I hike with two 65 pound dogs about 3x a week. Recommend looking elsewhere.

This leash was bought to replace another bungee coupler. I have two small dogs and i found only the Large was adequate enough. The issues i had with a lot of bungee couplers is the weakness of the elastic. It woudln't snap back and my dogs would be pulling me and causing stress and strain on my body. The large size was the only one that would correct them when they lunged towards things. BUT i do nee to mention it's still nota s good as my original one, because when i try to guide or correct them by a quick tug, it doesn't work at all. Either way, i love the length for trail walks and hikes when i dont need super control of my dogs, so this one i'm keeping.

I have two puppies that are about a year old, 50 and 60 pounds respectively. It was pretty handy to take those two and our other better behaved dog on a walk. It is rather nice to put the two rowdy ones together, because they average out to a chill dog with a moderate level of intelligence. They manage to move as a pack like this and allow us to get a good walk out. One thing I didn't think about is that if you attach both ends to the same dog, this gives the one a good but of bungee to even out the jerk when they get to the end of the leash.

With this leash coupler, I am finally able to walk my two big guys (96lbs & 106lbs) using one leash! The bungee makes it possible to actually walk and allows them to get far enough apart to hike a leg and go on a tree or the grass and not on each other. I have tried other types of leash couplers and I either have to bathe marked dogs once we get home or I have to stop every few feet to untangle leashes, legs and dogs. I finally gave up on using one leash. I'm glad I decided to try this!!

I have two 65 lb brother Labradoodle puppies. I have been walking them together when they were smaller with another dual leash. I stopped to talk with a neighbor and in about 15 seconds, one chewed through the leash strap. I really like this bungee leash because it is less likely to wrap around me legs, they haven’t chewed through it and the bungee action keeps them walking in sync. I think it’s because they can feel the bungee action pull on their harness, so they adjust speed and direction to keep pace with me.

Here I have my 55 / 33 lb dogs linked with a large, and the smaller dog also has a small of the same item attached to the front and back of her harness so she doesn’t pull quite as much. (The clip on her side of the large is not attached to the ring of the small but is around the bungee so it can slide, which works best).

I purchased the large version of this leash splitter for my two dogs. Both are mixed breeds, one is border collie/husky, the other shepherd/lab. The splitter was fantastic - it allowed them to walk with freedom to switch places, didn't tangle and was everything I had hoped for. For about 3 1/2 months. Then it gave up the ghost and broke. I had been worried about the connectors, but it snapped in the middle of the bungee, about half way between the D ring and the clasp to attach it to the dogs. Granted, the dogs pull a bit, but given the stated "durability" of this product, I really thought it would last a bit longer than 3 1/2 months. I'll be looking for something a bit more durable next time.

Excellent quality and 1 day delivery. Very happily surprised with both the steel clips and the nylon and stitching. If you're walking 2 dogs you will most likely wish you bought this yrs ago. That was me after buying my 1st a cpl years ago. No more tangled trips to the ground. The blue is imo the best blue possible. Great elasticity. Try it!. Thanks.

Allows me to walk my two dogs simultaneously. I have a 4 year old mini schnauzer that takes the lead and an 8 month old golden doodle that is more timid. Expect to get occasionally tangled until your dogs figure out how to move around each other. Springs in the material do help reduce some of the pulling but not by a tonne. You'll still need to be alert and keep a firm grip.

First off ... very impressed with the construction. Much heavier duty than the previous bungee coupler we had that lasted a year.The color is loverly and easily visible and the reflection strips are a nice touch for dusk walks.The metal clasps seem well constructed and should last ... that's where our last one failed is that the one clasp slider to open and close it broke.We put 2 x 70lb dogs on it with no concerns. Excellent purchase and pricing.

I love this leash coupler! It has just the right amount of controlled elasticity to give two dogs individual freedom of movement while keeping them in a safe and manageable range. It appears to be durable and is very well constructed. Simple details like the swivel connector keeps them from tangling up. I have found it easy and convenient to use. I have used it with both a retractable leash and a heavier woven one as in the pictures. I prefer to pair it up with my woven leash as my dogs are very energetic at times.
