Not happy
The book is good but totally dissatisfied with the copy sent. The binding is imperfect with uneven cutting. The front cover is smaller that the book.I think this is not a genuine Penguin publication but a cheap counterfeit copy

A great book
A very good hagiography of the great Saint Moinuddin Chisti. Highly spiritual and informative. Hagiography is always more accurate in narrating lifestyles of saints because they faithfully record the miracles which dry biographies omit. This is a great book.

Inadequate and much flattery
Very superficial and attempting to flatter rather than give an insight into the saint. Inadequate

Could have been better
It's a snapshot on the life of the great saint. The book has flashes of brilliance and the author's heart is in the right place. But it's very poorly written. In many parts, the stuff looks forced and contrived. But still, just the joy of reading on a high, liberal, Sufi saint makes it worthwhile. And it has an excellent cover!

Wonderful book! The book also contains a lot of background of sufism in contrast to conservative strains of Islam. I would have liked more of the legend of Khwaja Sahib in the book, though I respect the reliance on verifiable fact.
