These are cute, though a bit tricky as others have said. If you have an older place, I'd suggest maybe sanding down or patching the wall holes a bit beforehand, and not always fully screwing the outlet/switch itself all the way in (that's what will give you more of a gap/bow on the plate). The cool thing is there are spaces left open to loosen the actual outlet screws and try to adjust it while attaching the plates (reduce gap/bowing some). Weirdly, there are zero directions but it's easy enough to figure out. However, the first one I tried to do backwards and it sat MUCH more flush/sturdy because there was no gap. **All the manufacturers would need to fix this, is to make the mounting piece solid all the way through or flat without the lip, instead of having the open gap area in back which allows for the bowing. Or just have the 4 corners screw right in to the wall.** I contemplated siliconing them to the wall instead, so might try that if some of the gaps are still bugging me. After some practice, I was able to adjust some of these to fit more flush, so might go back to the first few for adjustments.Not super well designed but they look sharp for an upgraded look without metal plating, and I do like them enough to keep them. I'll be ordering more and hopefully the double rockers will be back in stock soon!I'm going for a transitional style, so mixing the black and white turned out just how I wanted 😁 Hopefully can add some decals next.

Purchased 1\2\3 gang Bestten wall plates for my entire house, along with Levitron outlets. The screw holes of the Levitron matched with the Bestten plates and it looks good. Only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because they dont include any instructions. Bestten ends up being their own worst enemy in this regard. Like many other reviewers you can read about here, i was struggling with getting the cover plate to snap into the back mounting plate and also seeing the "gap" between the wall and the plate. After jacking around with it for about an hour, I finally realized that i had the back plate reversed\backwards. Once i did that everything worked. The cover plate easily snapped onto the backplate and with just a little adjustment of the outlet screws allowed them to be perfectly flush with the wall plate. Some people complained about scratches or discoloring of the plates. I did not see any of that. Every plate had a plastic film covering for protection, the same kind of film you see on electronics.

These are excellent wall plates. The quality of the mounting is wholly dependent on the alignment of the switches being covered. If the switches are aligned properly and set at the correct height - these plates will look fantastic.

These look great installed. Only a minor issue: two of the plates were missing screws, probably a customer returned item.

Once you get them installed and "seated" properly they look GREAT, but very difficult to get them "seated" to look seamless. Also , removing the cover for any reason is EXTREMELY difficult. Feels like you have to pull and pry them so much they are going to break in splinters. The look is good but they need to make them a lot easier to work with.

Works great, just make sure you install the backplate in the correct orientation! (The backplate needs to be flipped around when installed from how it is seated in the covers in the packaging.)These really modernize a space and are an easy way to have a really clean look for all your switches.One thing to be mindful of is these can create more of a dust shelf due to being squared off on top, but for me I was okay with the small amount of extra cleaning maybe required.The screws are easy to loose if you’re not careful, so maybe find a safe home for them rather than keeping them loose in an opened baggy.
