Great for less than $50
Excellent "little" transformer. If I haven't messed up my calc's. It's a 7.2A transformer. Which if using both Promary and secondary taps equals 3.6A per tap (please correct me if I'm wrong). That said, my "Dog's Breakfast" Audiophile Edition...LOL is dead quiet and extremely musical sounding. Transformers matter ! One set of 22VAC taps feed a full wave industrial rectifier module that feeds the three big 470uF KEMETS that feed 20VDC, 18VDC, and 16VDC circuits inside the Bose Series 2 Equalizer.The other 22VAC tap feeds a cobbled together full wave rectifier that feed two 100uF USA made Vishay Aluminum Caps that power 2 balanced to unbalanced to balanced signal boards which feed 8 OPA 627 Op-Amps (picture shows OPA 2134 x 4) the audio path going into and out of the Bose box. The signal path is dead silent and extremely musical sounding.Good stuff !

Excellent Quality Transformer - Highly Recommended.
I am very happy with AVEL Toroidal transformer. Its a Good Quality product and I did research on the AVEL and they make Quality transformers. AVELs Customer Service was Great, I called them with the Question on color wiring mismatches and the lady on the phone was very polite and was able to clarify it. Product is built solid, nicely insulated. Good guage wires and comes with mounting accessories.I am planning to use this transformer on custom built - TA2022 Tripath Amplifier. Please select the right voltage, VA and 22-0-22 vs 0-22v, 115v vs 250VAC. It will save you a return.

Seems to work great.
Using in a LM3886 amp build. So far seems great. Very solid and heavy. Provides around ~31-32v after rectification (not under load). Doesn't seem to make any noise in my amp.

Working without problems in a Power Amplifier project
Schematic on label is clear and easy to follow. Mounting plates and foam cushions were provided to make mounting simple and professional looking. No audible 60 hz mechanical noise while operating. It has two primary and two secondary coils for maximum flexibility, so you can use it for a 110 or 220 VAC power source. I'm using the secondary configured as a center tap 22 - 0 - 22 VAC transformer.

works as expected but i would like to have a lot more documentation on how they are hooked to power supplies. also I thought the wires coming out of the transformer were quite week
