I was excited to order this ceramic bowl with the vibrant blue in it, but that’s not what was received. The size, weight, and shape of the bowl is fine. The colors are extremely disappointing as there is no vibrant or vivid color to it at all. Even the black is transparent and there’s hardly a difference between the color on the inside vs out. I would describe the color as “muddy” at best. Instead of placing this bowl in a place for display (which is what I had hoped for), I put it inside my knitting box with the lid shut. Oh, and the curled cut-out for dispensing yarn has some pretty rough areas that needs to be worked on before using — it snags the yarn fibers! $55 is a lot to spend on an item like this. I’ll just make the next one.

This is my first ceramic yarn bowl.I bought it for both large size and color design.By chance, it color coordinates with a favored crochet hook set (the floral case in the bowl, also available on Amazon).To say it's lovely and functional is an understatement... and definitely gift worthy for anyone who crochets or knits.It came wrapped in bubble wrap inside of a thick styrofoam box.

I was worried that my knitter wife would t like this but she really does and has gotten several compliments about it. It's one of the larger units available and is nicely finished such that the yarn does not snag when being pulled through. Two caveats: 1) the colors may vary from what is shown. I order one that looks red but is closer to orange. 2) The item ships from India and took nearly four weeks to arrive.

This is a beautiful yarn bowl, but it is not nearly as large as what is described on the Amazon page. I am disappointed at the rather misleading description of the product. I don't think it's helpful to describe the dimensions of the shipping box, as the bowl is much smaller than that. I was specifically looking for a large bowl, and I thought I had found it with the description of "9 inches in diameter." This bowl is more like 6 inches in diameter. Had I read further down in the comments to discover the true dimensions of the bowl, I probably would not have ordered it.

This bowl is as bright and beautiful as pictured. Packaged with heavy duty packing materials and arrived with no dings or cracks. The perfect Christmas gift for my granny.

Well made with vibrant colors. Wanted a ceramic yarn bowl and this fit the bill. Will make a great present for our knitter in the family.

4 stars because the colors are a little darker than the image reflects, so the light blue doesn’t pop as much as the image, but it is still gorgeous.

This was bought for my knitting mad daughter. I had looked quite extensively on the internet and had found it quite hard to get something I thought she would like as most seem to be made in America and have huge postal costs. I was a little bit unsure about ordering this but it arrived safely and on time with no problems. It is a good size, I pictured it next to a coaster for reference. The colours are the same as the one I ordered but the design is different, this could have been a problem but as it worked out I like this one even better than the one I did order so I am quite happy about that. I am pleased with my purchase which I think looks quite nice and my daughter seems happy with it too. The wool spiral bit is nice and smooth so no snagging. Would recommend.

This bowl is a great size for even a substantial ball of yarn (200m of Double Knit) and keeps everything neat. So far it has prevented knots, yarn flying across the room and, sadly for the cat, completely prevented her favourite game of 'chase the yarn'. I am very happy with this purchase - it works wonderfully and looks great too.

My son's partner says she finds the bowl very useful and fit for the knitting work.

The bowl is beautiful and only took 4 days to get here from India. However, be aware that although it is free shipping there are duty and taxes to pay upon delivery. In this case it was over $21.00....

I absolutely LOVE my ceramic yarn bowl - it’s big, bright and although it serves a purpose holding my yarn whilst I hook or knit, it also looks fabulous on display as an ornament
