Won’t stay on
I was told by a dog trainer these are the best, won’t cause issues for dogs feet getting over heated, stay in great!NOPE! Put on the front shoes, dog shook them on in less than 5 min. I’ll try again, but not looking too promising.

A bit tight for a standard poodle
Hard to figure out what size--a 55 pound dog with big feet but slender legs. That's a standard poodle. The standard poodle forum on Facebook said "Medium." So that's what I bought, and after a difficult tugging session (Daisy was not amused) they went on fine. And stayed on for a day. The reason I bought these was to find a way to keep the dog from scratching some sutures while they healed, on her neck. Right where a cone collar would go, so no way to use the Cone Of Shame.Instead, someone suggested these bootees, because without the feedback from the toenails, the dog's scratching cycle gets interrupted. Brilliant. So I did strap them on the dog and then...now, this is something worth buying these for: she started walking around like Monty Python's "Ministry of Funny Walks." I only put them on her hind legs (can't scratch neck with front legs) and she walked in the weirdest, high-stepping, spastic gait you ever did see. I tried not to laugh, because Daisy would revenge herself for being ridiculed. No I did NOT video her. Thought about it, though.Well, the bootees came off finally, after Daisy's determined nocturnal nibbling at the velcro, but they did stay on for an entire day and landed in the yard. They were wet outside in the snow, but the inside was warm and dry.So if you need to keep your dog's paws off of ice, snow, and road salt, these are PERFECT. For after-surgery scratch protection, more or less worked until they came off.

No more harsh environmental factors on the toe toes
These were the very last pair my doggie had before he went to Rainbow Bridge. He wore them to the best of his abilty because he was a Spirit of Love, Mutlocks were purchased several times during his lifetime and he was always protected, as some other brands fell off and his precious paws were exposed to the wicked environment. Thank you, Mutlocks, for protecting the very best part of my life that I will never forget and will again be rejoined some day beyond the Rainbow...

Worth a try
Our GSD adapted well to these...took weeks though. Products like this are trial and error. We finally found a way to secure them snug around the ankle so they didn't shift while walking. It definitely protected his paws and accommodated his large size. The durability is lacking. For two daily walk lasting about 20-30 minutes each they lasted 3 months but through the winter months. We used them in rain, mud and dirt. The first part to break down was the faux suede bottom and possibly due to our washing method. Because of the weather and grass they do smell after a week so we found washing them was necessary and that may have caused the breakage. If we conditioned the bottom then perhaps they would have lasted longer. It seems that a product like this will need to be repurchased frequently with such a large breed.

These Boots Will Injure Your Dog!
I bought the muttluk woof walkers thinking they would be perfect for my dog who has a neuropathy condition in his front legs and often cuts up the top of his knuckles due to dragging his front paws intermittently. He already has enough pain due to the condition and the injuries to the tops of his feet so imagine my surprise when after going on our normal four block walk, I removed the boots to find that underneath his paws they had been rubbed raw at the point where the strap wraps around the ankle. I am so pissed and disappointed that my dog was injured by this crap product! Additionally, after his first use of them, they completely scuffed up and frayed and the picture above is after just one week. Admittedly, my dog does drag his paws but seriously, after one week I would not expect them to look like they are 400yrs old, so caution to those getting boots for dogs with walking problems. Also, the inner lining is plastic, which probably contributed to the injury. They are not warm or insulated and when I did take them off my dog (it is January) and I put my hand inside, it felt like ice cubes inside those boots. I feel so bad that I subjected my dog to these boots. I will never buy from this company again if they don't explain why their shoes are causing injuries to animals and make this right immediately.

Don’t stay in place....
Finally got a chance to use these, even though I bought them a couple months ago. It’s been really hot ao we absolutely needed them. It was a short 1.5 mile walk and it took us 3 to 4 times longer than it should have because we had to keep stopping to readjust or put them back on. It was frustrating. I have two dogs that are big. I used L and XL ones and they do fit...they just DO NOT stay on. And let me tell you, I had them strapped on super tight after the first couple times they came off. Then they stayed on, but rotated around. It happend to both dogs and different paws, each time.

High quality. They do stay on!
High quality. Long lasting. They stay on! They are not water proof so you can do that with a spray on coating applied regularly. Also not lined so dog’s feet will get cold in temps below freezing.

Not Muttluks. Very poor quality imitation.
Very poor quality. Failed on first outing. Not genuine Muttluks. Label says "woof walkers" photo taken after very few walks.

Stay on well, collect snow in the elastic ankle band
I got these for my 70 pound pit bull cross (size large). My dogs run off leash for at least an hour a day and he was burning through booties (getting holes, losing them in the woods etc). These boots stay on really well, we've yet to lose one. They also keep his feet really warm. On -30 day he usually can't be out for more than 5 mins but with the boots he is good for 30-45 mins. The only drawback is the large ankle band. It would probably be fine if he were just being walked in the city but because he's running around in deep snow, the snow collects in the ankle and is uncomfortable for him. The snow collecting in the ankle is actually the thing that limits how long we can be out on a walk. I usually roll the ankle band down to try to reduce this as much as I can.

Basically socks.
I bought them because my dog slips on my floors and it makes her anxious. These are basically socks. They’re not great quality. They don’t keep her feet dry. They don’t prevent her from slipping. They fall off her feet quite frequently. She still skids out on the floor. There is no change. They look cute on her, though. Overpriced for what you get.

Product changed - disapppinted
This is my 4th pair of Muttluks. The first 2 pair had leather bottoms the last 2 suede bottoms. The suede dries very stiffly and I simply do not like this product as much as I did when they were leather. They still stay on my dogs feet so that is the most important thing. Will likely go back to buying in a pet store where you can purchase leather bottoms.

Product is excellent sizing is a little off
These were way too big for my dog even though she's 65 pounds and I measured. I had to send them back but got her a smaller size
