Standlee Premium Western Forage Timothy Grass, 10Lb Box

Good quality

I bought this hay for my pet rabbit since I don't really like the quality I buy for him at pet stores (or the price, so expensive!). It is nicely packed to ensure no moulding. The quality is great and my rabbit loves the taste since he now eats twice as much hay as he used to! The price was cheaper than pet store hay and it was delivered to my door (no more going out to buy hay). My only complaint is that my rabbit likes it too much and will probably eat way more hay now making me buy more than I used to so I haven't really saved money in that respect. If you want great quality hay for your pet at a reasonable price then this product is for you!

I purchased this product but originally, I wanted the box from Small Pet Select (sadly their shipping rate was crazy for Canada). So, I got the Standlee Hay (timothy) 10 lbs box and I am very happy with it. It was not the freshest hay ever, but it was definitely better (like 10 times better) than any Living world hay that I could buy at the pet store. The Standlee hay was greenish, lightly yellow, and it came in long strays with barely any ''dust'' at the bottom of the box. I can tell you, it is worth the money. My rabbit barely touched the Living world hay but now he eats everything in the feeder.I am sure you can get fresher hay from a local farmer but I live in the city and this option was the best for me. Would recommend!

It was shipped quickly and packaged very well. Double boxed, note that the outer protective box is about 25.5"x25.5"x16.5"... which made it tricky to pick up when I missed the UPS delivery. The hay itself is fresh! So beautifully green and well preserved. My two rabbits just went bananas when I opened the box, and they loved it. So overall I give it 6 stars - an extra for the bunnies approval. Will order again for sure! Oh one more thing just make sure you have a nice big container to put the hay in that way you can use the boxes for rabbit fortes :)

Had to return the first box due to dust and small fragments of hay,BUT was promptly replaced with a quality box (free of extra charge) <3Our rabbits are extremely picky hay eaters and are actually starting to eat it already. decently green color, good smell, and overall size of hay is quite nice too (long strands rather then little leaves) If your not impressed upon arrival, return/re-order one and i think you will be happy you did :)

This hay was super fresh and green, my 4 guinea pigs absolutely loved it and the 10lb box lasted just under a month which is great. There was some reallllllly small pieces of hay the farther I got into the box that I couldn't even feed to my piggies, but the majority of the box was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely purchase this hay again, and infact I planned to when I ran out of the first box. The only thing stopping me from purchasing this again is the significant price jump since the last time I ordered......I'm not really sure why the price went up so much but if that were to be fixed then I would order this in a heartbeat for my piggy babes!
