My legs are always freezing when I go out during the winter time, these pants have definitely helped a lot! The fleece layer inside is really soft and furry, so feels great on the skin. The layer outside blocks the wind effectively. The thickness and weight of these pants feel like the same as my sweatpants, but definitely warmer than them.As for the size, I got a Large and compared it with size 3 US pants. The waist and length are almost exactly the same, the legs are wider by about an inch.

These items run extremely smaller than US sizes. My daughter normally wears a small in US sizes and could barely button the Large that I ordered for her sister who normally wears a medium.

I usually wear a medium or large in most pieces. I ordered a large to be sure of the fit. When I received these, I couldn't even get them all the way up my leg. They are made in China and must reflect the size of Chinese women and not American women who are generally taller and have a larger frame. To return them, you have to mail them back to China so don't waste your money.
