GM Genuine Parts 19300922 Ignition Control Module

Before purchasing this one, I purchased 2 other aftermarket ICM's. One worked for a day, then threw a non relevant code. The second one worked for a few hours and threw the exact same non relevant code. I purchased this Genuine GM Part, installed it immediately and haven't had any problems in over a month. I should have just purchased this the first and saved myself over a week of time and a few headaches. Delivery was as promised and highly recommend this product and seller. Thanks.

There is nothing like a product that works. Let me tell you a story about this part. I changed it a year ago, with a lesser brand (drivewire) after less than a month my truck began showing the same problems it had before. It never dawned on me that the NEW PART had failed. Not being able to afford to take the truck to a mechanic, it took me over a year of searching various solutions, changing different parts, then finally buying a $220 scan tool, which led me back to this part. Through out my research and my full year of limited transportation I found, these vehicles (engine Ecotek) have issues with this ignition module. There is only a 20 dollar difference between this AC Delco part, and the garbage i bought. AS soon as i installed it and started the truck, all my problems left. No more stalls, no more misfire, back to the reliable smooth running vehicle i have enjoyed for many years. If i ever have the same problem, i will come back here and change this post, or drop the rating, so this isnt a longevity review...yet. It has only been installed a few days as i am writing. Very quick and easy installation. Push it into the coil rail, 3 screws and the wiring connecter. Literally a two minute job. And now the Saturn is running again. Probably the easiest repair/tune-up I've ever given a vehicle.

My 2005 Saturn Vue 2.2l was all of a sudden running terrible, misfiring, and hardly no power. Check engine light came on and flashing all the time. Thought it was time to give up on this old car( I thought it was the fuel filter or something major with all 11 codes that came up on the computer or the gasoline that I was putting in my car from different gas stations). I put in 4 new spark plugs, new coil pak, new coil boots and new ignition control module in under 20 minutes, and WOW!!! The car runs great. If it was to be taken to a mechanic, it would run you a couple of hundreds of bucks( parts and labor) YouTube it and You will be happy.Thank You Amazon,

I had bought a herko icm with coil packs and it caused a check engine light.I used this icm on the packs and fixed the problem.Thank you

Noticed a slight misfire on an extra cold morning and noticed the cooling fan kicked on (which is normally a sign of a diagnostic trouble code for 04 cavalier). The code was for a misfire and after a google search one possible solution was the control module. Ordered it and replaced mine and have not had a problem since.

I didn't like that the item appeared to be used but sold as new. I had an option to buy used for much cheaper. The item came in an Acdelco box but had no label or part number on actual part to even know if the part I received was acdelco or not. The box was also missing the little lube pack. I installed the part and it works fine though.

It didn't fix my problem, but that had nothing to do with this quality part.

How can you lose with a delco! I figured for this kind of thing it's best to spend a bit more so no worries about it malfunctioning
