Ok first off i want to say this is a great book on the older bujinkan system its worth the used price and i would suggest this volume because of the many drills and info in it alone especially the drills. well useful even now in the bujinkan system.When I myself was first buying these books in school i could only afford seminars and camps and such and these books filled the gaps in my training in togakure ryu (as it was called then), as previous i had only small training in judo,shorinji and a sogobujutsu that contained taijutsu and weapon arts. as far as i can see they will still work if you choose to follow the path of the ninja now. its a hard path i dont care what people write. not everyone can be ninja but everyone can learn ninjutsu if they want it bad enuff.I also want to say this one doesnt have quite as much politcal dribble except the questions asked by the publisher but becasue he was the ONLY one writing about true ninjutsu in understandable english at the time he did well...he did what was expected of him to do and what the bujinkan has ALWAYS done , embellished here and there and made a little extra cash off the the ninja side of it...as far as rumors and why people hate him from there countries the exact same or worse rumors go on about them as well. seems like nowdays they are trying to weed it out tho i hope it works. only the hard training will make it right anyway.i dont care for his newer system to shin do but these first few books were gold. and WELL worth the used price!!!

One more Volume of the incredible Stephan K Hayes legacy, with the history and information valuable to scholar and techniques and tactics pleasing to any martial artist. A Good interesting book for all

Life and resources are too short to waste on fakes. Hayes is the real thing. Ninjutsu can't be learned through books. It must be learned from a qualified teacher. These books in the Ohara series are useful to understand your instruction better. They are all treasures when used that way.
