Works great
The remote control is very basic but auto switching works perfectly. Connected to Samsung 6 series tv. Ps4 and Blu Ray player run through with no problems. My old switcher was NOT playing nicely with the new tv. This with some new 2.0 hdmi cables and everything is great.

2 minor issues. still love it
it provides great picture true 4k with no issues so far. works with all my hdmi systems without fail. there is 2 issues with it or it would be 5 stars and they are the LEDs are super bright I can see in the dark enough to navigate a room with it on. and 2 the remotes range is funky sometimes it will work sometimes not. but solid buy I do like everything else about it

Poorly made, fails in under 3 months
One star, if I could give it less I would. Had it for less than 3 months and it already does not work for all except input 1. We had a power outage and since then I can only use the first input, my ps4 will not show picture, my bluray player screen blinks on and off and my Nintendo switch buzzes. So I have had to resort to unplugging and plugging my devices directly into my tv in order to have things work. Do NOT buy. IF the company contacts me to make it right I will amend my rating, but it seems that my option to return doesnt exist.

First Review: Seems kinda DOA (Dead on arrival) UPDATE: NOT DOA, but…
Eager to use this switch, I set it up exactly as instructed. (1) I plugged it on to an electrical outlet using the supplied cables; the red power indicator light came on in the front of the switch device. (2) The two HDMI cables (from my BluRay player and my Amazon FireHD device) went into two inputs at the back of the switch. (3) A newly bought 3ft HDMI cable went from the HDMI out of the switch to the back input of my Samsung TV.I switched on the Amazon FireHD device. But the TV would not find any HDMI input. I switched on my BluRay player, with the same result. I pressed on the buttons of the remote of the switch to no avail. And then, I sat down in front of the switch device and manually pressed the button in front to get the TV to recognize the HDMI input coming from the switch, but nothing happened.Frustrated, I individually tested both the HDMI outs from the BluRay player and the FireHD by connecting them to the Samsung TV, and yup, both were working and the TV readily detected the HDMI inputs. But when routed through the switch, it was dead. This is so disappointing. I really thought that this product would help me make the most out of the single HDMI in available at the back of my Samsung TV. Alas!UPDATE: I decided to give it another try by connecting my Cable TV box and the BluRay player to the switch. This time IT WORKED! Even the remote works; I can switch between Cable channels & the BluRay player, both connected to the TV via the switch & single HDMI in.This means that my Amazon FireHD device is not recognized through the switch. (I tested separately too, with the same result.) That’s a bummer, but for me, not a deal breaker. However, one major issue I found is that the quality of the sound output from both the BluRay player and the Cable Box has gone down significantly due to the switch pass through, even though the HDMI connecting cable is short (3 feet). I now have to increase the volume significantly (from earlier 20s to now 70s) to be able to hear the dialogs.Otherwise, there’s no diminution in the picture quality.

Major flaw in the electrical cable.
Alright. So, first, let me paint a picture. I moved into my new home and made sure to get all my wiring done before moving all the furniture in so nothing would be in the way or out of place. I mounted a 65 in 4k OLED tv to my master bedroom's wall. The master is a little different since it's a rectangle and not a square. With my furniture lay out, this meant my media chest had to go on an adjacent wall. I bought a 50 foot fiber optic hdmi cable to avoid 4k distance being an issue. Next, I bought this HDMI switch to have my PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch and Satellite receiver connected to thus preventing the need of 3 different hdmis ran to the TV.The switch had good reviews, stated it could handle 4k at 60 fps and had updated handshakes for the hdmi connection. Seemed solid.I set everything up and it seemed to work flawless at first. Then, a week later it started to warm up and the AC kicked on. Sure, in every home there will be a power dip when the AC's compressor kicks on. However, this was causing a momentary black screen to pop on with picture and audio loss.I decided to do a little investigating. I connected the device to a surge protector. This did not solve the issue. I tried a different outlet. This did not solve the issue. For a moment, I considered it to be my television. So, I plugged my TV into a higher end surge protector that I use for my PC. This too, did not solve my issue.Annoyed, I unplugged the switch and ran the hdmi directly to each of the different sources -- which did not act the same way during the small electrical fluctuations. Again, PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch and Dish Network 4K Joey functioned flawlessly when connected directly.Getting frustrated, I decided to try one last thing. The power cable for the switch is a USB connection to an electrical adaptor that plugs into the AC outlet. I disconnected the usb connection, unplugged the adaptor and hooked the USB connection into my satellite receivers' USB port. Low and behold, it hasn't done it since. So, while the product performs at a 5 - star rating, I find I have to drop this device down to a 2 - star rating. Powering devices properly is essential not only for the device, but for the devices it connects to. To not have a solid and functional power cable that isn't susceptible to small fluctuations in electrical is not only impractical, but down right terrible. The device shouldn't have to piggy back off another device to receive proper electrical current.Just for the sake of putting this out there, I bought two of these. One for my master and one for the living room. I did try swapping the power cables around thinking maybe one was faulty. They both did the same thing.Perhaps this is something the company can consider in the future.
