Live Phytoplankton 2-Pack 16oz Bottle - Cultured by Mercer of Montana (Tetraselmis)

If Mercer ever went out of business I would probably tear-up. I've been growing out my own live phyto for some time and I have yet to find a better product in the world better than Mercers product. Once you start culturing this stuff with a jug, a light and an airstone AND follow good husbandry...this stuff thickens and turns super dark green in a matter of days. Mercers product is SUPER live phyto and I couldnt be happier. If I was forced to use a different product from a totally different company I would be extremely sad, because when you receive the best and know it, it makes all the difference.

This is the third time I've ordered this manufactors phyto. I culture my own copepods. It works great for that and also I save money with prime!

I have purchased this Phyto several times and it is of the highest quality and always very fresh. I have even used it to make my own starter cultures with great success. This is definitely the best Phyto I have used and I have purchased from pretty much everyone that sells this stuff.

I'm dosing this to my 90g mixed reef. All my sponges, and filter feeders really seem to like it. It came well packaged and fast.

PIcked up this and the culture kit which includes fertilizer. Using it as feed for my new copepod farm and in about 2 weeks of using this the farm has gone from a few specks on the glass to swarms of pods on every surface area of the tank. I started my own phyto culture using this and was able to get a nice dark green gallon's worth in a little over a week from less than half a bottle. Product is awesome, but if that wasn't enough the shipping is super speedy. I've ordered from Mercer of Montana on 3 different occasions and every single time the product was in the mail the same day!!! If you need Phyto don't bother with anyone else. Use these guys :(

I was worried about this purchase of phytoplankton because of the heat and the number of days it takes to get to my home. The Phyto arrived at a nice stable temperature and was well packaged. I will be ordering this phyto again the price is right and the delivery time is fast, I am happy with this purchase.

I've been using this for quite some time, and I can tell you the stuff is definitely fresh and alive. Also, I've had absolutely no adverse effects on my water quality (nitrates, etc.) whatsoever. It always seems to perk up my feather dusters and corals. All in all, great stuff. I plan to keep ordering from this guy.

Been culturing, harvesting and splitting for about 2 months now...If my culture ever crashes and my refrigerator is empty, I will definitely buy 2 of the 16ox bottles to start over.
