Will work for someone who fits the general mold or in a pinch.
As much as I wish I could keep and use these gloves, for they are exactly what I am wanting, I’m returning them. I ordered a women’s medium according to the size chart they have attached and they were too big. I will also note that their size chart is misleading, being labeled with their logo while suggesting they may have smaller and larger sizes. I even contacted the company and found out that it’s just a general glove sizing chart and not in fact theirs, for the only sizes they offer, are the three listed. That also includes on their website.Another downside to the pattern of these gloves, is how the palm is straight across, when in fact the pinkie slopes down naturally on the hand. These gloves could make due for someone in a pinch or who fit within the general norm of hand sizes.Pros- wool blend outer with a fleece lined inside for maximum winter warmth. Individual knitted fingers for added winter warmth when flip top is backCons- mass production, generic hand shape pattern for less snug fit. Limited size options for those who fit outside the mass produced norm.

Gloves run small.
Gloves run small was the first rating I left but when Illinois Glove Company read my review they made things right. Illinois Glove Company sent me an apology and then sent me a new pair of the gloves that fit snugly but much better. The gloves appear to be high quality and are very warm. I just wish I had them when our temperatures were down to single digits.Any company that makes things right always deserves a second chance and Illinois Glove Company deserves my new rating of 4 stars.Thank you and if I ever need gloves again you will be my first choice.

Size issues
Either the listing for the size recommendations is wrong or I was sent the wrong size. There is no size listed on the packaging or the product so it's difficult to say if I was sent the correct size or not. My had measures 3.75" across. I opted for the large despite the recommendation to step down. (3.5" for medium, and 4" for large)These are as tight as I could acceptably wear. They are close to the point of restricting blood flow and making my hands colder rather than warmer. Besides that, the stitching and such seems decent and if they fit just a little better, I would be excited about them.

Not for 'sausage'-fingered men, bad stitching, logo on wrists missing, not 50% Wool / 50% Nylon
Loved the look of the gloves because they (nearly) matched another 3M Thinsulate, 40gram, set of gloves I had in almond/vanilla (whatever they're white with brown leather palms). Under closer examination there are numerous flaws warranting attention.1. 3M Thinsulate badge, complete with weight and model # are not on these gloves. However, the black gloves listed here clearly show the label.2. Stitching is not precise, leading me to (at one point) have to repeatedly jam my fingers into the fingers before getting them to fit.3. The tag inside states 50% Wool (Rag), 40% Polyester, 10% Acrylic. By comparison, the pair I owned are 50% Wool (Rag) and 50% Nylon. In short, if you are a man who previously fit their hands (comfortably) into a pair of T-40L 40gram Thinsulate Gloves, then these will not work for you. As for me, I'm debating on returning these.

Love Love Love these gloves!
Love love love these gloves! They were prefect for my trip to iceland. Although I have gloves that are supposed to work with a phone screen.... they really don't. These gloves allowed me to use my fingers and then cover them back up easily, without taking them on and off. Super warm- can't say enough good things.

quality control is a disaster
Sorry, one of the fingers was sewn-over, which was pretty easy to fix with a pair of sizzors, but it didn't stop there. The gloves are extremely thin and waaay too small for my hands - although I will admit ordering large ( because there was no extra-large choice ) instead of my normal XL. I think my niece can use these though, her hands are much smaller and she has much better circulation than I do so the thin-ness won't matter for her.

These are excellent gloves.
These are not "work-gloves and not "water-proof. These gloves ARE comfortable and warm. The glommit provides excellent finger protection from cold air. I have been wearing these for many years and often have replace mine when other family members "glom" onto mine. I wore mine to an appointment in -12F weather today; they performed as expected - well.

Very warm but put together terribly.
So I’ve worn them once so far. I will say they are extremely warm. But that’s about it. I wore them for maybe 4 hours total. By the time I took them off the mitten flap part was falling off of each glove. The palm and finger liner looks like a blind person cut them out and sewed them on. The thumb was falling off by the time I was done. Being they were so warm I decided they were worth fixing. So I stitched everything up and will see if my handy work is better then who ever made these gloves. Needless to say I would next time spend alittle extra money and find a well built glove.
