This is an adorable hat, but take precautions to make sure it fits your child well. The sizing description says this will fit up to an 18” head circumference, but we find it’s rather tight on our 1 ½ year old. It would better fit head sizes 17 ½” or smaller. The hat is 100% cotton and can be washed in cold water. It isn’t as soft as we had hoped and the interior band feels a bit more scratchy than other sun hats we own. It does come with a stretchy elastic strap (see photo) for kids who need some added security. The strap could easily be cut off too. All is not lost—we’ll save this hat for baby #2.

This is a cute hat for babies and small toddlers. It has a soft elastic strap that goes under the chin. It is surprisingly well made. I actually looked into having straps on baby hats. Ties are a chocking hazard, but this strap seems to meet recommendations. Still I worry a little about any kind of strap and would probably only put this on baby for a short period for cuteness. But it could be useful for keeping the sun out of babies face when riding in the stroller.

What an adorable sun-hat. The black check is super cute (with the leaf crown). I thought the fabric might feel a little rough for the baby's soft skin, but she was relaxed having it on. She is 10 months old and it fit her perfectly.It would look great on a baby boy or girl.My only suggestion would be to have the string that goes under her chin be a little tighter to hold the hat in place.

Adorable! This is a lovely hat to help keep your little cutie's head covered. It is for an infant - a toddler's head would most likely be too big so make sure to note the sizing. The fabric is soft and didn't seem to bother my little one. There is an elastic strap to help keep the hat in place but we ended up tucking it inside the hat.

This is a very cute hat for baby. It's almost retro-looking. It's very soft and shaped perfectly to fit a baby's head. It fit my niece's head and she's a little over one year old. It looks exactly as pictured.

There really needs to be some way to adjust the fit. We'll grow into it, but I really wanted to wear it the past summer. Hopefully it still fits next summer! It is cute and well-made.

This is a good quality hat and is very cute but it’s VERY small!

This hat is pretty cute on my daughter. Plus does a decent job of blocking the sun. Fits really well on her head.
