I think this is from the golden period of Almodovar. Interesting plot, lot of love and compassion for his female characters, funny but at the same time dramatic, intense. In a funny manner he treats a subject of human relationships. I don't want to give too much info and take the beauty of watching it away! I think it's worth watching it.

Esta es una de sus menos conocidas películas, pero en mi opinión una de las mejores. No se realmente como este talentoso director convierte escenas fuertes de violencia de toda clase y encuentra humor en ello. Realmente nos recuerda a no tomarnos tan en serio. Definitivamente un gran profesor y artista. Los actores todos fabulosos(menos el Peter Coyote, que no sé para que diablos lo inyectaron en tal producción, blah!)Todo lo demás perfecto. Bravo!

I like Almodovar best when he is not being soggy (as in Talk to Her). Veronica Forquet is probably the best comedienne Spain has at the moment, and Victoria Abril, is up there in the pantheon of Almodovar's movie goddesses. Together, they are irresistible. Throw in Peter Coyote and you have pure nitroglycerine! I will not even try to give a plot summary. Just lie back and laugh your head off!

As a fan of Almodovar and his art, this movie was a disappointment. The characters are shallow, there is hardly any story line and after a while a had to turn it off because the movie kept going on the same way, over and over. Sorry, Pedro!

I really enjoyed it though my fellow viewer squirmed quite alot and probably never choose to see it again. Such is the nature of Almodovar films. Marmite. Very challenging and I wouldn't take my mother or a child to see it. The design is wonderful. Well done Mr Gaultier. Try it and see you never know you may like it....then again you may hate it

J'étais à peine majeure quand j'ai vu ce film et je me rappelle avoir adoré (tout comme Talons Aiguilles). Bien sûr, il faut aimer le style Almodovar ! Je ne l'ai jamais revu depuis donc j'espère qu'il ne fait pas trop "kitch" et qu'il me plaira autant que dans mon souvenir.
