Useful at getting the basics of geriatrics understood. Format of the tables could be better though. Extensive bibliography in the pros. Ideal for busy clinicians caring for the elderly. Note that it is focused on US health system.

It is a book I was looking for to prepare for recertification exam from Geriatric. I did not have time to read this book, I just started. PLEASE SEND THE BILL FOR THE BOOK WHICH I DID NOT GET YET. PETER BADMAJEWMD

A must read for clinical practitioners working with Geriatric patients. This book covers the expected changes in the anatomy, systems, functional and cognitive domains of the Geriatric patient. Filled with a good mix of charts and very readable, accessible information for assessment and managemment. Relevant to healthcare changes and the increasing population of patients that will fall under this category.

Excellent resource! Would like more details in certain information.

Great information and introduction to geriatrics as a specialty. I recommend it to anyone with patients that are elderly.
