great setup
After doing a ton of research on the led lighting for marine aquariums I decided to try this unit. I was looking at the other brands and they all for the size of my tank gonna cost big bucks. On the order of twice of this unit costs. I also have been noticing on Amazon and the reef sales sites that especially the Kessil's are having issues with dust. I wasn't in the mood to be spending money on new lights every year. So I was initially going to get the setup with the remote control. Then this unit came out. Only difference between the two is one uses cell phone or tablet and other remote. I chose the Bluetooth because it looked easy to setup. I also wanted the double light for better par and growth of my zoo's. leathers and xenia. I also like the fact that you can buy the pumps for wave and sump control from this unit. I got my unit with no issues during shipping. I opened the box and everything was packaged very well. The unit comes with the 2 lights, 2 extension cords for lights, power supplies, Bluetooth controller, Velcro and temp probe.. Put the lights on top of my aquarium. Then used zip ties to make wires neat to Bluetooth. One thing about Bluetooth controller. LEAVE THE PLASTIC BOX ON. IT VOIDS WARRENTY IF REMOVED. I hooked up Then hooked up temp probe. The app is easy to download and install. Follow the instructions that Current for linking to your phone. The light is brighter then my compacts. There is a nice shimmer in the water. The clouds and thunderstorm functions are neat to watch but scare the fish really badly. All in all this is the best bang for your buck for LEDS. I would recommend buying this unit.

Great colors Numerous options. Solid construction. Ramp up/down, combo price good
The media could not be loaded. These lights are incredible I have researched numerous lights over my 30+ years. There are a lot of options when it cones to tank lighting. I finalky found lights and controllers that are as close to perfect as possible. Yes the Bluetooth has some know bugs Current is working on. But the options this Bluetooth has is amazing. This kit does not come with speakers, however I used a pair from I already have. I run dual light sets on all my tanks. On my 135 African and 220 SA/CA I additionally run dual wave pumps as well. The included thermostat is also a nice feature.I can honestly say I have all the different sizes Current has available. All flawless great colors, great ramp up and ramp down time. My fish no longer get spooked with the instant lights that use to happen.

Zero instructions or available information online
I should have known this product was going to be garbage when I called their office on three separate occasions to ask question. Obviously I decided to order anyway which was probably stupid on my part. First the good: I’ll get back with you. One, the QuickStart guide gets you up and running but I was looking for more detailed information. They provide a link that just goes back to their loop Bluetooth app page. Once you find the “manual” page user support guess what’s there? The quick start guide? So what’s the M button do? If they had a manual I could tell you. I’m not sure what the ramp up / ramp down times are because it doesn’t appear like they’re customizable which is really dumb. This light appears to have some cool features but I’m not sire why they don’t give you the ability to set up a custom schedule. I’d like to be able to ramp up to noon and have full power daylight for a few hours. I also got their pumps/power heads to connect to the system. I’m not sure if I’ll keep it or return everything. my Kessil A350W is a “dumb” light but it is 10x the quality of this current USA stuff. I really wanted to like this, but come on get it together people.

Great all-in-one system.
I've had the system for one month and I love it so far. I haven't went as far as renting a par meter to verify brightness but the corals seem to be responding well to the system. The lights themselves are very sleek (some lights are very bulky) and silent (other lights have active cooling that causes noise). The power cables for the lights and the power injectors are plenty long. Although the thermostat cable is a little short (you will probably want to buy a USB extender).I love the Loop system. There are a lot of considerate details included like the feeding setting and random weather effects. For greater security one press of the button on the Loop controller (blue to green) will put it into single device mode where only one phone can control the device. The app itself is adequate; you just have to remember to return the app back to schedule mode and exit all the way back to the first screen each time you use it. I haven't tried the sounds settings because I lack the appropriate speaker. The extender feet are a little cheap. Although they haven't failed me I'd like to see something a little bit more substantial.I had to take a star off because the first unit arrived with broken connector collar. Instead of rushing back to Prime for a replacement I attempted to contact Current customer service. Their "fastest" support option was 404. I tried another support option but there was no one to take my call. I then waded through their website for a contact page which started a string of automated responses. I'm currently somewhere in my 614th hour of the 24hr wait time for their customer service response. I eventually replaced the defective light via Prime (thanks Amazon).

Nice lights so far 👍🏻
I was hesitant to get this light because I do plan on growing LPS, SPS and softies. My SW tank is pretty shallow though, so I figured I could get away with it. I currently have a Hydra 32 which is very nice but $$ (I have two tanks and didn’t want to spend the money on the other tank 😅). I hate to admit this but it was difficult for me to figure out which ports the power plugs went into and as a result couldn’t get my lights to work 🤦🏼♀️ DOH! Anyway, the lights are very nice and connected to my App flawlessly. I will try to review again after having the lights over the corals for awhile to see how they do. My tank is about 13” deep. Also, the different light settings are very cool (thunderstorms, etc).
