Performance Tool and Abrasives W87030 One man Automotive Hand Vacuum Pump Test and Brake Bleeder Kit

Well some how I accidentally ordered 2 of them at the same time. Lucky I did as the first one stopped working before I got started on my second car.Decided to do brake jobs on my car and my wife's car over the same weekend. Worked fine on the first car, but right when I started the second one the hand pump started seizing up then the pin that holds the handle on slipped out.So grabbed the pump from the second package and finished the job. Either way I would not buy if you think you are going to use multiple times, it's cheaply made.

Pump works well. The vacuum hoses in the kit were folded up and the creases never came out or would have gave 5 stars. This pump is great for testing vacuum lines especially on turbo systems that have vacuum actuated control valves etc. It also works great with bleeding brakes especially when you don't have help at the brake pedal or you're doing a full brake fluid flush /replacement.

Not a commercial product for heavy usage. Excellent tool for bleeding calipers without help of an additional person.

Product works as expected. Plastic construction seemed a little questionable but it did do its job on bleeding the brake lines easily. I think it should continue to work as expected. Lots of various tips/connectors included so you can use it for a variety of purposes which I will be doing in the future. Pulls & hold a vacuum well.

I bought this back in June to add to my tool box. Planning to use it for bleeding brakes. Took it out of its box for the first time today, March 2017, and found the clear tubing "glued" in several spots to the gray plastic tray. Looks like the tray had melted to the tubing. I was able to drain the master cylinder reservoir without any problem. Refilled the master with clean brake fluid then I went back to to the right rear to bleed it. Got a couple good pumps and would bleed. Did that maybe 3 times when I noticed that I was only getting at most -5 psi no matter how many times I pumped. Thought maybe the hose was too loose so I switched to some much better rubber hose. Still no luck. That's when I noticed a hair line crack on the right side just back from the gauge. Over the next 30 minutes the thing just fell apart more and more as it sat on my tool box. This thing is junk. It could not stand up to 5 minutes of use, use that it specifically says it's meant for right on the box!
