This was the only place I could find lave rocks for a grill. I could not find a grill that used lava rocks any more so I had to modify one. I prefer the rocks taste to open flame cooking.

I got what I wanted at a fair price. The installer wanted to charge me 3x this. The color was accurately represented, What else can you say? It's lava rock, right? It rocks!

I purchased this in hopes that it would help stop us from getting the gas flavor in our food. I believe it's taken care of the problem

I ordered these because I only needed a few and shipping was free. However, they're a little too pricey. If you're looking for bulk or just something less expensive you should call your local gravel supply or garden center. Lava rocks are also used in pond filters so if you have an outdoor pond supply place nearby, they'll definitely have these cheaper.

Lava rocks are fine, work as expected, shipped and received as expected. Slight colour difference from what we had, but we put these on the bottom, and maintained the othe colour rocks on top. Using on outdoor propane/gas firepit.

Rock are fine but there should be a description of don't use in gas fire pits. I put them in mine and they started to explode. Leaving a few burns
