Good game!
I know this game has gotten poor reviews from a lot of people, but I think it is pretty entertaining. I originally had it for the xbox before i got red ring and i bought it for my computer. it is challenging enough to keep things entertaining, but also different enough that it isn't like every other game out there. I would highly recommend trying it out. I'm not the best reviewer of video games, but you can always go to ugo or gamefaqs, ign, or somehting liek that for reviews. This game hasn't been rated very highly, but I think it's a good game to kick back and play once in awhile. Worth a try at least.

Awesome game.
Awesome game but was very easy to beat and very little to no replay value at all. Still it was alot of fun the first go around.

Depite mixed reviews fun gameplay and nice graphics.
This game had gotten mixed reviews on Steam. Only DRM is a disc check and it was the full game on disc, no patches were needed, registration or other. Runs fine on my windows 8.1 machine. Has kind of stale voice acting but lots of variety of gameplay and visuals. I like this game despite the mixed reviews. For the money would be a great gift to pc gamers who don't have an internet connection or want to fiddle with DRM problems like other games. Nice graphics and has local LAN play to play with friends which only a few games have. Another great LAN game is Hunted Demon forge for two players.

Damnation...had potential, but ultimately very disappointing...2 1/2 Stars
'Damnation' is a new game by Codemasters and Blue Omega. I purchased it through 'Steam'; it's a huge game with the download taking almost 15 hours. The Game:'Damnation' is a third person (above and behind) platform game WITH some fighting thrown in. Running, jumping and sequenced key-strokes are required to get through each level; the fighting is from a third person perspective. What makes this game different is the stress put on traversing the massive vertical challenges. The visuals feature one stunning vista after another, encompassing spectacular canyons, cliffs and structures; one can easily feel some unease here if your uncomfortable with heights. The first segment is your basic tutorial to help you get use to the movements required to jump and maneuver etc.The Interesting:1.)On-line (deathmatch, win the flag etc.) and co-op play are available through 'Gamespy' and LAN (I was unable to try this, as there was no one else to link up with at this time, so my experience is limited to single player only). There is also an on-line 'Versus' mode of gaming.2.)There is a list of 'unlockable' items that, I assume, are available once certain criteria or achievements are accomplished. There is no hint as to what these are, nor does the rather scant on-line manual give any mention to these 'unlockables'.3.)There are times that you get to ride a suped-up motorbike. VERY arcade-like in quality...but a lot of fun.4.)The puzzles seem to be fair; when the most obvious way to accomplish an objective or to get from point A to point B didn't work, there was usual a different or more remote way to accomplish the task.5.)If you miss a jump and die from a fall, you regenerate from where you fell.(not back at the beginning of the level)The Cons:1.)Having played this game for several days now, I'm beginning to see a very repetitive pattern to some of the platform puzzles and their layouts and to be honest I'm starting to get a little bored with trying to find a 'new' path through a slightly different scenario. 2.)The battles with enemies are very poorly done; the AI of the enemies is extremely 'dumb' and the AI of your fellow comrades is even dumber. All fighting has a very poor, arcade quality to it.3.)There are no player game saves (F5 etc); there are however, check-point saves, generated by the game. This COULD be very irritating, because dying via a gun battle results in restarting the level over again at the last check-point game save (which could be quite far back...especially the finale).4.)The audio features an ongoing propaganda announcement that continually plays in the background in nearly all of the in-town levels. The same announcement, over and over and over...very annoying.5.)Some of the conversations between your computer comrades are very cliched and inane...like squabbling siblings.Overall Impressions:A game that seems to broken down into 2 components...1.) an interesting platform game that focuses on massive vertical challenges and requires some spectacular jumps and leaps; as well as some precision key strokes.2.) a VERY poorly done third person shooter, done in the most basic arcade quality...in a word TERRIBLE.Conclusion:A game with an enticing and nifty looking package. (how many times have I fallen for that trap; you'd think I'd have learned by now)A game with that appeared to start with definite possibilities has quickly become rather repetitive and tedious to play. But to its credit, the platform aspect is well done, and any true enthusiast of this genre may very well love this challenge, however, I find it hard to think that I'll actually finish this game.Rating of Platform aspect...3 1/2 to 4 StarsRating of 3rd Person Shooter...1 StarR. DAMN ON DAMNATION!
GREAT LITTLE GAME, I LOVE THE 3RD PERSON STYLE GAMES. THIS WAS A NICE TWIST ON A WESTERN SHOOTER. I'D LIKE TO SEE MORE LIKE THIS. A PC VERSION OF RED DEAD REDEMPTION WOULD BE AWESOME.
