Fairfax Collection Elegant Fern Vinyl Tablecloth, 54-Inch x15 Yard Roll [Kitchen]

This is the 3rd Summer I am buying two of these. We have an extra-long picnic table that we use all Summer/Fall on a patio in our backyard. I staple gun the cloth on the table and cut one in 1/2 and cover each bench (so they are secure in the sea breeze). Turns a very old picnic table into a very nice surface for buffet for BBQ parties, and nice benches to sit on. All I have to do is wipe it down once in a while, otherwise, it looks great for months. It finally will fade a little by December, (we are in Northern California) but still looks great. I leave it on to protect the wood through the Winter, and in the Spring, I rip it off and replace. Works great, looks very nice and not so 'cutsie' like many vinyl table-covers do. It matches both our sage green patio set & beige set as well :-). I read a review about the chemicals used to make the table-covers, and am concerned about that as well, but since we use it outside and no food ever actually touches it, I think it's safe- as much as any plastic products are. Quality is good, colors great, overall I recommend.

Looks more attractive (calmer) than I expected. Light/medium weight (not thick) and I think this is an advantage. Has strong chemical odor upon first unwrapping, and I strongly suggest airing it outdoors (or in a presently unoccupied room) and then wiping it down with a damp cloth before first use.Very glad I bought it. Intend to use it on a dining-room table indoors, either alone (when young children are visiting) or under a formal tablecloth on those occasions when I worry about spills which might harm the wood.Price is a wee-tad on the high side for the item, but not unreasonable. I benefit from honest, clear reviews and I am trying to do my part by writing this one.

I purchased two of these in a 60 x 104 size for a neighbor who is extremely fussy and had been complaining that the vinyl tablecloths she had seen lately were too thin. She actually takes two of these and will sew them together and then cut out a huge circle, as we use them on the very large tables in our condo gazebo area. She loved the pattern too. Her last one was used out there for years, and is just starting to wear, so hopefully, this one will last as long.When they arrived, I was concerned that these might be too thin as well, but she didn't think so.Since they just arrived yesterday, it remains to be seen how well they will wear, but if the opinion changes, I'll come back and update my rating.In the meanwhile, if I could make her happy (she and her hubby are like family and take very good care of me), then I'm happy too.

I am very happy with my 60" round fern vinyl tablecloth. It drapes nicely. The pattern is lovely and matches my chairs and the rest of the decor in my living/dining area. The colors shown are a very close representation. I clean it with a damp paper towel. Sometimes I add a little dish detergent to the damp towel. I have the Miles Kimball elasticized table pad underneath this tablecloth. Unlike some vinyl products, this tablecloth did not give off a fowl odor when I took it out of the package. The only minor negative for me is that it does arrive with several wrinkles. One reviewer said she put it in the dryer for a few minutes. I decided not to try that technique because I don't want plasticizers in my dryer.

We have a near 100 year old family table that was recently refinished and needed a tablecloth thatcould be used everyday to protect the table.This tablecloth is attractive, well made and perfect for that use. It was also thought to be quiteeconomical.It was a bit disappointing that it was made in China but it seems almost everything is these days.I would say that if you have a similar need and like the pattern of this tablecloth then it shouldfit your needs very nicely.

I purchased this tablecloth because of the positive reviews and because I needed the pattern. I agree this tablecloth IS very thin (which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5), but I'm not sorry I bought it.I use it with placemats and a table pad, so it's just fine. Displayed on the table it almost appears as cloth. I think the price was a little high because of the added shipping fee, but I couldn't find as nice a pattern as this anywhere else and I'm happy with it.

It's a nice vinyl tablecloth. I just wish that the print was more durable on all of them. After a couple of weeks of wear, the print has faded away at the places we use it the most. But it is durable and can withstand a heated item being set accidentially on it.

The tablecloth is nice material and lays well on the table. It is softer and slightly heavier than some of the ones I have purchased in stores. It does have one random white mark on the pattern, right on the top of the table and not in the center so I could cover it. It appears only once and I did not notice it at first - actually, someone else pointed it out to me. Be sure to check the tablecloth pattern when it arrives.
