SAOLLuxurios Dara 100% Merino Wool Cable Knit Aran Bed & Couch Sofa Throw/Blanket (Natural) by 69 x 44 inches

I live in the South and got this as a bed blanket. I hoped it would cover me, but breathe because I get hot at night. (You ladies know what I mean). I like a light weight blanket that doesn't press me into the mattress. It has been very successful at both these requests. Acrylic blankets get hot immediately and slide around, meaning my husband grabs it when cold then kicks it off, and I get nothing. This is the perfect size for my side of the bed and the wool is "sticky" enough to stay on my side of the bed. Beautifully made with no straggly threads.

High quality beautiful throw. You will wonder how beautiful deep green color this throw has. It has a nice cable pattern and soft to touch. The throw is warm and big enough to cover the whole body. I enjoy it very much. Looks like made with love🙂

Nice blanket. The smell was too strong for me but not for others in the house.I tried to remove/reduce the smell with hot water (as some web video suggested) and ended up shrinking/damaging the blanket.Should have washed it with cold water with Woolite first.

This woolen throw is amazingly soft and warm. It looks beautiful draped on a chair in our living room. We chose the "natural" color, which is rich and luxurious. The throw is thick and a fine quality. I've seen similar size woolen throws which were consistently higher in price. I'm totally delighted with this purchase.

Tried a few Irish wool blankets on Amazon, and this one is the best. Softest, not itchy. Didn't smell like sheep or chemicals. Happy with purchase!

This knitted throw was a gift for my mother (an avid knitter). I was nervous - but she loves it. She could appreciate how well it was made. Very nice gift.

I bought this as a gift and it is a beautiful throw. The recipient loved it. The only thing I was disappointed in was the size. Smaller than I thought I would be.

Looks handmade (in a good way) and is as beautiful as everyone says it is! It is NOT scratchy ( hello, it’s merino wool?). Looks amazing on the foot of my bed- made in Ireland., I love it!!

I am changing my review. The blanket looks and feels lovely, but FALLS APART. I never even used it; it was just folded over my couch and there are now holes in FIVE SPOTS. It’s starting to unravel in those areas and is completely unusable.All of the defects are at the crossovers in the cable pattern. I’m a knitter and I think this blanket was machine knit in segments and attached together. Perhaps the yarn isn’t very strong. Also the ends of the yarn aren’t even woven in, they are just joined in tiny knots and pulled to the back.I took it to be appraised for repairs and they said it wasn’t worth fixing because they would charge more than the blanket cost and the repairs would be noticeable.I had even bought a wrap from the company in the same pattern and yarn because I liked the blanket so much, and now I’m scared to use it lest it fall apart as well.Too bad I discovered these problems two days after the return period ended. It’s an extremely disappointing and expensive waste of money.

Although the weave and colour are gorgeous, the material is not soft like Merino wool and it is quite itchy with some rather coarse fibres.

Looking for a pure wool throw and found this for only $76. Gave as a gift and they loved it. The design is lovely, the colour is a light grey, and it's soft and very warm. Highly recommend this item.
