Works well with regular tennis balls
It was actually hard to find a product to replace my old ball launcher. I wanted it to be stiff so it will launch pretty far - and I wanted it to work with regular old tennis balls. And I do like the feature where you can carry an extra tennis ball in the side of the handle. That's a nice feature. I reviewed many launchers on Amazon looking for reviews that said it would fit my needs. This one is an excellent replacement for the old one I had (different brand.) It filled all my requirements well.

Do not purchase!!
The only good thing are the squeaky balls! The handle is way to short and uncomfortable. I played with my dog for 20 minutes, my hands were black and I had a blister on one finger. It is very uncomfortable to use . Would not recommend this product. . I will be returning it

Decent Ball Launcher For Shorter Distances!
I received the Launch-It Dog Ball Launcher with 4 Animal Print Squeaker Balls.I have use the Chuckit Ultra Ball Launcher for many years and love them. I was willing to give this Launch-It brand a try to see how I liked it.So, here is how it faired:The extra ball holder in the handle is kind of cool, but you have to stick with using the 4 balls provided as they are a bit smaller. A real "tennis" ball doesn't fit in the handle holder. The throw stick itself is much lighter weight and shorter, so for me I could not throw as far as I normally do.The handle part is not as comfortable to hold as I am used to, but it's not bad.The part that holds the ball you are throwing seems a little more difficult to direct where I throw the ball, but it does hold both the balls provided, AND it will also hold a real "tennis" ball too.The curve, length and flexibility of the actual throw stick itself inhibits the long distant throws that I can achieve when I use my thicker, stronger, firmer Chuckit. The 4 balls that are supplied are very cute with the animal prints, but they are a bit smaller that a "real" tennis ball, and they do not hold up as well as a "real" Tennis Ball. Conclusion:For folks that do not need to throw balls too far, this works fine. For folks with large yards or open spaces, who like to throw their balls 60 ft or more, I suggest looking elsewhere!Basically, this is a decent ball launcher that throws about half the distance of the Chuckit Ultra. The best thing about both launchers is that you do not have to touch the slimy, slobbery, gross dog balls!
