Q: What Size are these socks?

I chose women's medium which fits a range (isn't it sick sized 9&1/2 to 11?) I wear size 8 shoe and they fit perfectly

Q: The picture shows 5 socks in different colors but the description just says blue. Which is it?

I received 5 pirs of socks in different colors as pictured. BTW, I wondered the same thing. :)

Q: thick enough to wear steal toed shoes for 10 hours a day with?

These socks are thick and comfortable not sure about steel toed boots. Check shoe manufacturer recommendations

Q: What calf size will these fit?

As I had said ...these socks are not as long as I had hoped. They only go up to above the ankle. Not an ankle sock, but definitely dont reach your calf. Hope this helps .
